Character Description
General Information
First name: Jack
Middle name(s): Follet
Surname: Verlee
Age: 693 years, 26 appearance wise.
Date of birth: March 9, 1318
Race: Cambion
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Current residence: Cairns, Australia
Relationship status: Straight
Social status: Respected among thieves and assassins, general disdain from demons outside of hell, and considered slave material by demons inside hell for being a Cambion. Needless to say she doesn't take her vacations there.
Traits of Voice
Accent (if any): Australian
Language spoken: English
Other languages known: Many human languages from warmer countries, smaller bits from colder ones. Likewise, she knows many of the major supernatural languages, but she's lost on colder dialects.
Style of speaking: Very informal, yet intelligent, and extremely sarcastic. She insults just about everything that moves, regardless of who they are to anyone else or to her.
Physical Appearence
Height: 4' 6"
Weight: 83 lbs.
Eye colour: Bright blue
Skin colour: Caramel
Shape of face: Short and square
Distinguishing features: Jack has a long, black spaded tail. Her spade is thin in width with one point long and sharp and the other curled and withered in a way that slightly resembles a fishing hook. Her tail is prehensile and very expressive. The triangle of her spade is made of bone and is sharp enough to stab with enough momentum behind it. She has many scars over her body, three slash scars on her upper right shoulder, a set of three slash marks following her ribs, a bite on her right hip, four slash marks on her left thigh, and another bite on her left calf. She also has many other smaller scars in various places from fighting. All of her major scars are from her time learning necromancy where she had to live amongst the dinosaurs to stay alive.
Build of body: Thin and muscular
Hair colour: ruddy brown
Hair style: Cut short a few inches above her shoulder. It is very spiky, mostly due to being cut haphazardly by dodged knives, bullets, and other sharp pointy things. She has side swept bangs parted on her left. The top of her head is rarely seen due to her hat, and what is underneath is a mystery.
Complexion: Darkly Tanned
Posture: Straight with a loose, fluid swagger. She carries herself as if she was tall, rather than short.
Tattoos: She has a tribal tramp stamp eddiescouch.deviantart.com/art…
Typical clothing: This fav.me/d3cejs6 or a variation of any of the items included in it. If she isn't wearing her wrap she's most likely going topless (she figures if guys can go around without shirts, she should be able to as well). Her hat, however, is extremely important. Jack wears it constantly, even taking it in the shower. It's made out of raptor leather, which is thin and flexible with light pebbling on the surface. When Monty died and his remains became corporal, she used them to make her hat as a memento of him. Often, she'll fidget with it when she's upset and will become violent if anyone tries to take it from her. When it is taken off, she has a hard time keeping control of herself and her behavior will become more volatile, resembling a caged animal.
Personality
Likes: Coffee, her Hat, going for random drives at odd hours in her Jeep, being in the sun, heat, torturing people, reptiles, being in high places, surfing, coffee cherries, going around shirtless, playing her games, getting reactions from people, dinosaurs, coffee, sci-fi, and videogames.
Dislikes: De-caffeinated coffee, cold, being forcibly controlled, drugs, people, being friendly, happy, bubbly, cheery people, not getting reactions, eating, being bored, traditional zombie-horde necromancers, Seelie/Unseelie court related politics, just about everyone, Spies, and the French. Nobody likes them anyway.
Education: She has had no formal education, but through her father's teachings she's been 'homeschooled' enough that she's well versed in a variety of things. She's very well read and has a verbose vocabulary and isn't afraid to use it… mostly for insults.
Fears: When Jack left the spy business, it was because she realized that whomever the spy had been, whoever was the owner of their real name, didn't exist anymore and they were just empty, unfeeling shells with no soul left. She considers that, being a monster. She's been fighting to find herself again and is about 80% there, but deep down she knows she's just a wolf in sheep's clothing and her biggest fear is going back to just being a monster like that. She also has an immense fear of needles.
Personal goals: Finding herself and causing general chaos. If she's made your day worse, or gotten a general reaction from you, she's won.
General attitude: Jack is extremely insulting, belittling, snarky, rude, smart, incredibly intolerant to stupidity with no qualms to point it out, and loves more than anything, to make a complete mockery of people. Her main goal in interacting with someone is to get an extreme reaction from them. She won't outwardly seek people to torture but if they engage her or are in her way she considers it open season. Granted, what she considers engagement can vary from moment to moment. Often, her behavior is extremely unpredictable, especially towards people who have just met her. Mostly this is because she processes situations very quickly and often leaves out actions she deems unnecessary as well as the fact she has many internal rules and conditions that most people aren't aware of.
She has no hesitation toward being violent to anyone of any relation. Even when it comes to cheap shots she won't have a moment's hesitation. Because of this, when she makes seemingly outrageous threats (i.e. carving 'I'm an incompetent drone with my head up my ass, feel free to use me as a meat shield' into someone's liver with a potato peeler) they tend to take her seriously because she /will/ carry them out. She's sadistic in every form of the word and when she's got someone in her grasp, if she has her way she won't let them go until they can never look in the mirror again.
Despite all this, to her making people miserable is a game and she is very aware of when it's time to stop playing. The main determining factor to her is how much she cares about the person or how much power they have over her. If by the odd chance she does care about someone then she is incredibly loyal and protective. In Jacks' world, the only person who can hurt her friends is herself. Jack is extremely smart and observative so she usually catches on to how people act very early and usually makes a final judgment on a person after three or so meetings.
In regards to other people, Jack could care less about what they thing of her, or what they think in general. She demands equality from those higher up than she, and Jack has no problem fighting for that right. Similarly, Jack has next to no concept of gender roles. Not only does she find them silly, but she severely looks down on anyone who conforms to them. When people try to apply them to her, she retaliates vehemently. This also applies to titles. For example, if she ever found someone she wanted to spend her life with, under no circumstances would she marry them for fear of being the 'wife' and being treated like one.
When it comes to sensitive matters with people Jack is more often than usual neutral. She doesn't judge people based on sexuality, ethnicity, gender, or anything else like that; she automatically disdains you all equally. Actions determine how she feels about a person, but once there's no chance she'll like you, Jack has no problem basing insults off of sexuality, ethnicity, etc.
Religious values: She doesn't believe in any gods, but in her honest opinion, she's surprisingly neutral on the matter. In a serious conversation she won't look down on any religion, but at the same time she won't support them. She may ask questions about a religion, because most religious customs don't make sense to her, but apart from saying that they don't make sense she won't go out of her way to ridicule someone for their religion. To her, if someone wants to believe in an imaginary friend that controls the universe, then so be it.
General intelligence: Jack is extremely intelligent overall. She is a very good tactician and she can almost always find a way out of a situation one way or another. Jack has no qualms being manipulative, and does so quite frequently. She is a firm believer that you can always have your cake and eat it too if you take the time to think.
General sociability: Again, she aims to rip people apart emotionally, and more often than not physically as well, so you couldn't really consider her sociable. She doesn't hide the fact that she hates people and she's completely unreactive to kindness. Once in a while she will take a liking to someone, but the types of people that eventually fall under this category are varied. However, they do share the common traits of being resilient and either take Jack's beatings, or they also give them back. If they're the type to join in on beating the innocent-piñata-person, all the better. Jack has no sympathy for the weak so many of these people tend to be strong in one way or another. As long as someone proves amusing to her, Jack is usually comfortable with keeping them around.
When it comes to finding a mate (she has to go out of her way to refer to it as anything else), Jack looks for someone who won't fight for her, or have her fight for them, but someone who will fight by her side as an equal. An actual partnership is more appealing to her than a man that fights all her battles for her. When someone gets to this point, she trusts them immensely and is loyal to the core. While it isn't unheard of for Jack to flirt around, she does it purely to tease her mate; she really enjoys the possessive response it usually provokes. Conversely, if her mate were to do this to her, she would instantly turn jealous and possessive, though she wouldn't hold it against them. While the teasing and fighting never really stops, it changes from cruel and bloodthirsty to playful. That doesn't mean that she's any more reserved about hurting her mate, though. One thing that is surprising is that Jack becomes extremely affectionate and has no qualms about public displays. She also is very tactile and enjoys a frequent cuddle. It should be noted that sex is completely meaningless to her. Kisses have the same emotional equivalent for her.
Health
Illnesses (if any): Coffee dependency is the only thing close to an illness. cambions don't naturally produce magic like other supernaturals. Usually this isn't a problem because the majority of cambions can't see past glamour, but cambions who do and decide to use magic need an outside source of it. They find it through Fae Food, which are foods grown from magic. Coffee is Jack's fae food of choice because the caffeine helps metabolize the magic faster, which she needs because her necromancy demands a constant source of magic. Because of that, if she goes without caffeine for longer than three hours, she'll pass out and go into a comatose-like state until she gets more magic. Normally, she has around 30 cups of coffee a day with an additional twelve cups before work, just to make sure she's safe. Although she doesn't get jitters from caffeine, the only expected side effect she does have is crashing. To temper this, she sleeps often.
However, with necromancy being incredibly demanding magically, especially her specialization, it's not uncommon for Jack to use her own life force to fuel her necromancy. Whereas demons live until they're killed, cambions have lifespans of approximately 10,000 years. Jack has managed to whittle it down to the point where it's very unlikely she'll live past 5,000.
Allergies (if any): Holy water, while not giving her severe burns like a full blooded demon, gives her a bad case of hives. The same goes for any other blessed substance.
Sleeping habits: Jack sleeps often throughout the day. She doesn't firmly sleep for the eight hours recommended, but takes many small naps during the day. Over all, she can spend somewhere around ten hours sleeping. When she does sleep, she sleeps like the dead. Out of habit, she's extremely uncomfortable sleeping where she doesn't have her back or side pressed against something solid, and will often have night terrors without it. Because of this, she often sleeps on her couch. She's extremely territorial of her couch; very few people survive touching her couch without her permission.
Energy level: When she's awake, her energy levels are normal, but she has about an hour window where she gets tired and a little out of it from lack of coffee.
Eating habits: When Jack was a child, her father recognized that because she was a cambion, she could live without food. From a young age, he denied her food under the pretenses that it was all poisoned. Of course, it didn't take long for her to realize he was lying, but at that point her stomach had become so small that she couldn't eat anything without throwing up. It persisted out of habit that she didn't eat anything until she started drinking coffee. However, because she's only half demon, she can't go without food without any ill effects. Relative to her species, Jack is very weak physically and her stamina is lacking. Still, compared to a human she's strong. Compared to both her speed is impeccable.
Memory: Her memory is very good. She has a special talent for the little details of things. What she's not good at is forgetting.
Any unhealthy habits: She drinks on occasion, but nothing habitual.
History
Birth country: She was given birth to in hell
Hometown: If you ask her she'll say Sydney and Cairns, Australia.
Past places of residence: In her childhood, Jack traveled to many prominent cities in many different countries. Over all, colder countries were avoided but for the most part she's been to just about everywhere. The places where she's stayed the longest are, in order; London, England; Avignon, France; Adana, Turkey; Various parts of Costa Rica; Island of the Damned, somewhere in Oceania; Sydney, Australia; Cairns, Australia
History of family: Deziree Verlee, Jack's mother, was a succubus of high status. Her clan was known for their mastery of ice fire. They were also known for being surprisingly aloof and uninterested in politics. Her father, Dimitri Bancroft was a spy for England. On one of his missions, where he was supposed to siphon information out of the head of a rival house before assassinating them, Deziree had planned to pay the head a visit that night. Dimitri had the head distracted so he could gain access to his room at just the right time that Deziree appeared. She was the most beautiful woman Dimitri had ever seen and immediately tried to court her; he figured a witness in love with him was only a little less safe but a hell of a lot cleaner than a dead one.
Of course, Succubi don't work like that and he ended up falling in love with her before the night ended. When it did, and she disappeared, Dimitri was distraught. Once he completed his mission, he spent weeks searching for her to no avail. After seeing all his hard work to find her, Deziree decided to show him a bit of mercy and went to him in the night. She went with the intention of having sex and being done with it, so Dimitri would write her off as a dream like the others, but he denied all of her advances until she disappeared again. Now, there was a challenge in it and that was something Deziree simply couldn't say no to.
Over time, she went to him again, at first infrequently then more and more frequently. Every night she would try to seduce him but he would argue that he wanted her love before her body. It infuriated her that he would reject her like that and she ended up spending more and more of her time with him. Eventually, she began to have feelings for him as well. Nights weren't enough for the two of them anymore, and Deziree gave him Fae Food to let him see past the glamour.
From there, their relationship blossomed. It was at this point that Deziree's long time best friend, Ty, put his foot down. He hadn't approved of her obsession with a human in the first place, saying that he was only attracted to her because of her abilities as a succubus. He had been in love with her for decades, and to see her become so attached to a short lived human, was painful. Still, he wanted her to be happy above all else and eventually backed off, content to just keep an eye on things.
When Deziree finally went into labor, Dimitri was taken into hell and into Deziree's home. It was long, and hard, but when their child was finally born, it was a bit of a surprise that it was a girl. They had prepared for a boy, planning to use the name Jack, but Dimitri, let alone his culture, wouldn't have it. Deziree said that a name was a name, it had nothing to do with gender, but Dimitri insisted on changing it to Jacqueline. It was while they argued that a spider crept in through the window. It was an assassin hired by a rival family. Almost as quickly as it had come in, it snuck up Dimitri's pant leg and bit him, infecting him with madness. Under the curse, he drew his dagger and before Deziree even knew what he was doing, he had stabbed her through the belly. When blood began to well up, it finally hit him what he had done, and in a panic he fled with the child, crying as he went.
Ty discovered her seconds after and he was able to keep her alive, just long enough to hear her last wishes. She wanted Ty to be the godfather of her child and keep an eye on her, because it was obvious she would need it now. The safety of her daughter was the most important thing to her at that moment. She said eventually he could do what he felt necessary to Dimitri, but to leave a piece for her daughter. The last request she had was that he call her Jack. As she went, Ty held her and finally told her just how much he loved her. In the end Deziree died with a smile on her face.
Childhood: After the curse had faded, Dimitri was distraught at the loss of his would-be wife. Now, with Jacqueline being the only thing left of her, he dedicated himself to giving her a happy, care-free life. It was not easy, with Dimitri's occupation being what it was. He had made many enemies and it was clear that they saw Jacqueline as a weak point. He loved her just as much as he had loved her mother, and finally retired so he could not only spend more time with her, but protect her as well.
This lasted for a while, and Jacqueline grew quickly. When she looked to be about eight, she was kidnapped by enemies of her father. It took not only Dimitri himself, but Ty as well to bring her home. Ty was simply furious that not only had he had killed Deziree, but had almost gotten Jacqueline killed again. Although they tried to be subtle, Jacqueline overheard their conversation. Once she knew that it was her father who had murdered her mother, Jacqueline became cold to him. After much debate, she remained with Dimitri and he began training her as his apprentice to ensure that when he couldn't be there to protect her, she could protect herself.
The training Jack went through was grueling. Dimitri wanted to be her father, but now he was her mentor. The training he had gone through was rough, but he ran her ten times harder because she was a cambion. He withheld food from her, convincing her that she couldn't trust it not to be poisoned, he put her through torture to get her used to pain, and he beat any bit of personality she had out of her so she would be ready to take on whatever identity was required of her. It turned out she had a natural affinity for knives, and Dimitri fed that until she could surpass him in a knife fight.
When she was finally ready to start going on missions, Jacqueline had become a hollow shell that's only purpose was to kill and retrieve information. Early on she had been forced to kill, and would do so again and again until it was routine. Quickly, word spread of Dimitri's return to the business and his young disciple. Of course, by now Dimitri was getting advanced in years and most of the jobs that 'he' took were carried out by Jacqueline. Almost no one noticed the difference.
Teen years: For years, Jacqueline carried out these missions. She didn't question it because she had nothing to tell her it was wrong. Her training had taught her that happiness was just an illusion. People who spent time playing we weak, and those that were kind were only plotting. It wasn't until she was in a conversation with one of her marks that it really hit her that it was all a lie. At that moment, a spark inside her was rekindled. Once she was truly aware of herself, Jacqueline became sick with herself. She had murdered, stole, and cheated without a second thought, but worse than that she did it with no soul. She had no feelings, no opinion of anything, no personality, and to be capable of killing on top of that, was what Jacqueline considered a monster.
She abandoned Dimitri, now on the brink of dying any day, and tracked down her god father. Eagerly, he took her in and consoled her. It took weeks to get her out of the depression she was stuck in, but when she emerged, she changed her name to Jack and vowed to find herself at any cost. Months went by with Ty teaching her and showing her how to really live, and gradually she fell back into herself bit by bit. After a while, Ty realized that simply being idle and showing her things had done all it could, and now it was time for her to find herself on her own. Being a necromancer himself, Ty decided to pass on his knowledge to her. In necromancy, there was only so much you could do before you had to live amongst the dead themselves to gain their trust. He taught her the basics in a matter of months. After that, he delivered her to the Other Side; the realm of the dead.
Their land was just as expansive as the world of the living, and Ty told Jack that she would have to choose one type of dead to master. She though, long and hard, before saying that the only thing she thought worthy of being brought back from the dead were the dinosaurs themselves. It was hard to find them, but eventually they found the Island of the Damned which was the eternal resting place for all prehistoric life. After that, it was time for Jack to continue on her own. She would be left there, trapped in a sense, until she won the respect of the Dinosaurs and made a summoning contract with them. This would ensure the strongest type of necromancy possible. Of course, that, and the beings themselves made Jack's future form of necromancy very powerful, but very taxing.
It didn't take long for Jack to adapt to the jungle. She found the foliage to be quite comforting and quickly came to consider the island her home. Of course, the dead that roamed the island weren't the best of neighbors. Nights in the beginning were often sleepless and many times Jack was woken by something or other trying to eat her. Eventually, she took to the trees and found sleep among their branches. With all the time being alone, Jack had no choice but to become introspective. There, she found more and more of herself that would never have been discovered previous. Whereas Jack had been cold and soulless before, she was becoming fiery and passionate.
Once, as she was traveling through the jungle, she saw a pack of Utahraptors ganging up on what looked to be a baby. Despite being greatly outnumbered, the attacked raptor fought back ferociously and managed to severely injure one of the raptors. Jack respected its strength and stepped in. Although she didn't come out unharmed, she managed to scare the raptors off from the baby. On closer inspection, however, it turned out that it was just a runt. A Juvenile still, but older than she had expected. At first, it distrusted her like all of the other dinosaurs, but it still would follow her at a distance. Once it was clear that it would not be leaving her alone anytime soon, Jack tried to befriend it. She imagined that because the raptor was so small and young, it must have been killed that way and was stuck like that ever since. His actual death probably went something like the earlier scene and she had saved him from reliving that.
Once the raptor began to trust her, the two quickly became good friends and Jack named the raptor Monty. She noticed, over the course of their friendship, that Monty started growing. In death, the soul took on its true age, and could fluctuate in death. Now, with Jack's help, Monty could grow beyond the age he died. Within months he had reached his full height of eight feet at the shoulder, still a runt but big compared to Jack.
Over time and trial, Monty taught Jack his language and that lead to the two having long, almost constant conversations. Despite his appearance, Monty proved to be a big teddy bear; a big teddy bear that frequently mauled and eviscerated. His goofy personality brought out more of Jacks and she began to regard him as her twin. Both were inseparable from each other by any means.
Eighty human years passed on the island before Jack had become recognized enough to try for a challenge. It came to her in the form of the matriarch of Monty's former pack. She had been watching the girl and her former underling for quite some time and was less than happy with the standing they acquired. Monty had become part of Jack's pack, officially stating and treating her like a matriarch. It was raptor custom that two matriarchs should never share the same territory and if one stumbled into the territory of the other, they would fight to the death with the winner continuing to lead both packs as matriarch.
The fight lasted for days, just one on one between Jack and the raptor. The matriarch completely dwarfed Monty in both size and ferocity, which just made it a match for Jack's own. Where it would dart out of the foliage and pounce, Jack would duck and slice it along the belly. Where Jack would fight her way close enough to take a stab, the Matriarch would reach out and claw her. Finally, after days of fighting, the Matriarch began to wear. Her movements became predictable, and Jack, knowing how to fight continually with little to no sleep, took advantage of that. She wore down the raptor until it was dazed and clumsy. In one final foray that left Jack's sides torn open and the majority of her body broken, Jack managed to decapitate the Matriarch and the fight was over. Jack took the soul of the felled queen as spoils and used it to heal herself, but only enough so that she was not in imminent danger. All of the wounds from that fight would go on to become her major scars.
Once she had one and became Matriarch of all the raptors, the other dinosaurs recognized her and she finally forged a contract. With that done, Jack began to open a portal back to the land of the living. When she was about to go in, there was a screech and Jack turned just in time to see one of the other raptors springing at her. Almost instantly, Monty jumped in the way and the raptor ended up pushing them both through the portal. When a spirit is taken to the land of the living without having been summoned by a necromancer, it begins to implode on its self in a way. It uses its energy to re-create its corporal form to keep it safe, but at the same time this takes all of the energy the soul has to offer. This is what happened to Monty. Before Jack realized what happened, all that was left of Monty was a corpse.
In mourning, she took his body and made a hat out of his remains that she would wear from that day forward. The rest, she buried back on the Island where it belonged.
Adult years: Now that she was done with that, Jack was at a loss of what to do for a while. Ty, who had become an information monger as well as sort of a manager for all sorts of mercenaries, started giving her assignments he had been brokered. Jack found she really enjoyed the little jobs she would get. Most were assassination jobs that took a few days, in others she got to participate in wars. With her newfound self, Jack was twice the assassin she used to be and actually got to relish the kill this time.
She stuck with this line of work, traveling all across the world to fulfill jobs. It was at this time that she expanded her knowledge of languages, learning many supernatural as well as human languages and dialects. Over time, Jack began to gain infamy and soon people were directly requesting her when they needed someone killed, a war won, an object stolen, or a life ruined. She was very good at all of it.
It was during this time that Jack came into herself almost fully. Where she had been devoid of anything, now she burned with the fire of life so hot, that just her personality would scorch everything it touched. Of course, this made her many enemies but by now, living with an eye over her shoulder was second nature to Jack and she actually enjoyed people's attempts to kill her. It gave her an excuse to put them through cruel and unusual torture.
Finally, the order came in to steal a root of Yggdrasil. It was the sort of act that would start wars. It was dangerous, and blasphemous, but Jack didn't bat so much as an eye when she accepted the order. It took her months of scouting, and the lives of hundreds, but she delivered a root just as promised. Both Seelie and Unseelie courts were enraged. They sent everything they had after her to try and bring her to justice.
Jack managed to get by for years without being caught, but the person who had commissioned her had been. He squealed like a pig and told them everything. Jack had no warning and couldn't run fast enough. She was brought in to trial and charged with the desecration of a holy object. Because she was commissioned, Jack got off light. She would be deported to the newly founded criminal country of Australia where she would be executed.
Jack had never been to Australia, and thought it would be rather exciting. Even with magic, at the time it was still a trip to get to the country and in that time Jack devised a plan to set herself free. Every night she would soak her iron manacles, the iron negated all magic and made the perfect bondage material for supers, until they gave way to rust. By the time they reached port, they were rusted almost all the way through and when prisoners were beginning to be unloaded, they shattered easily and Jack rampaged her way out of the ship and onto land, free as a bird.
There, she lived in the wild again, traveling the entire continent before returning to Sydney where she had first arrived. Jack had come to love the country, and found that it called to her in a way no other place had. She quickly claimed the land as her criminal territory, and continued to live there, traveling from city to city as they grew. Now, she resides in Cairns, the jungle having reminded her of the Island of the Damned too much to resist.
Briefly explain life story: Her father, the human in the relationship, accidentally ended up killing her mom after she was born. He tried to give her a normal life, but it didn't last very long as his occupation as Spy constantly put her in danger. To fix this, he trained Jack to be a spy, putting her through incredibly harsh training and eventually beat out of her any personality she had. When she realized this, she became so disgusted with the whole thing that she ran away, changed her name (it was formerly Jacqueline), and trained under her godfather, Ty, to be a necromancer. In her training, she chose to be a Paleo-necromancer, and befriended a Utahraptor named Monty and quickly regarded him as her brother. He died on her return to the human world. Once her training was complete, she became a thief/mercenary and went on that way making a name for herself until she was ordered to get a root of Yggdrasil, eventually getting caught for the crime. She was deported to Australia, where she broke free as soon as the ship docked and has been living on the continent since.
Relationships
Parents: Jack actively hates Dimitri, her father, with a burning passion. Although she would kill him if she ever saw him again, at the moment she's more or less forgotten about him and wastes very little time thinking about him. Towards her mother, Jack usually takes a protective, albeit neutral stance. This is partially because of the lack of information her father's given her about Deziree and the fact that, from her point of view, it's more or less pointless to worry about a dead person you've never met. She has a great relationship with Ty and considers him to be her true father. In that respect she's a little bit of a daddy's girl.
Siblings: None, biologically, though she considers Monty to be her twin and refers to him as such to anyone who asks.
Any enemies (and why): Her attitude earns her many enemies, but she generally couldn't care less about any of them.
Children: None; Cambions are sterile.
Friends:
Best friend(s): Monty (deceased)
Important friends/relatives (explain):
Love interest (if there is one):
Combat
Peaceful or violent: Very violent. She fights for any reason she can possibly think of, from being shot at to someone not getting her a cup of coffee, or even worse, sitting on her couch. Anyone that sits on her couch without consent is in for a life threatening situation.
Weapon : Normally, for an assassination job, Jack will use a sniper rifle and pick off her targets long range. However, in unplanned/unexpected fighting, she rarely uses her sniper rifle; after all, it's not something you carry around every day. Besides her sniper rifle, she doesn't use guns unless necessary. Over all, she prefers close range combat. She uses two knives; fang and claw. Fang is a kukri with a foot long blade. She has it on her at all times and mostly uses it. Claw is her hidden knife. It's a highly curved karambit resembling a raptor claw, hence the name. It is sharpened on all sides, and along the spine it has slotted edges for trapping. It's a very wicked, nasty knife that you wouldn't want to meet in a dark alley. She only uses it when she's disarmed using Fang or she is otherwise unable to use it. If a fight gets really serious, she will use both.
Abilities: Jack uses only one kind of magic; necromancy, specifically paleo-necromancy (prehistoric life, like dinosaurs). It is very demanding form of necromancy, let alone magic. Even when Jack doesn't have any dinosaurs summoned, her powers still demand magic. Usually, she has one or two smaller dinosaurs with her constantly but she can summon a maximum of ten small dinosaurs or 5 medium sized or 3 large dinosaurs without having to expend lifeforce. Any more than that and she not only has to use magic, but her own life force at the rate of ten years per two minutes.
All of her dinosaurs come back skeletonized. However, the ghost of their flesh is maintained by the magic used to summon them, meaning that if you were to touch one, you would feel skin on top of muscle rather than bone. This allows flying dinosaurs to continue to fly, and swimming dinosaurs to continue to swim. When Jack starts to run out of magic, this ghost gradually fades until only the skeleton remains animated. As a general rule of thumb, Jack has to be within fifty feet of her dinosaurs before they start to de-animate.
While she is summoning, Jack can't move or be disturbed, or she will have to start the process all over again. When she has a significant amount of beings reanimated, she starts to tire physically and will usually ride one of her dinosaurs to conserve energy. Jack is also able to see through the eyes of her dinosaurs, however when she does this she loses all sensory input from her body and would be completely unaware of an impending attack. To communicate and issue orders, Jack actually speaks /their/ languages. It's not uncommon for her to actually have conversations with her raptors.
While her favorite dinosaurs to use are members of the dromaeosaurs (Utahraptor, Deinonychus, Velociraptor), she also has a range of other frequently used dinosaurs. Australovenator, is frequently used alongside her raptors. When in need of heavy muscle, Jack often tends to use a Spinosaurus. For air travel, she uses a Thalassodromeus. Platyptergius is used to travel by water, but both Squalicorax and Tylosaurus are used for sea based attacks.
Cambions, as a general basis, are stronger, faster, and more resilient than humans. They also have a minor resistance to fire.
Style of fighting: Jack isn't very physically strong, just able to withstand the recoil of her rifle, and while she can be fast, she isn't over long distances. Where her strength lies is in her reaction time and in her reflexes. When she isn't taxed on magic, Jack has super human reflexes that she uses in combination with her observative skills to not only predict where someone's going to move, but have the reaction speed to catch them when they do and kill. Often, she'll work on surprises and strike when her opponent is least suspecting. The same goes for her attacks with dinosaurs. Often she'll summon a pack of Deinonychus, velociraptor, or Utahraptor to coordinate her attacks with.
When the element of surprise is out of the question, Jack will often use her opponent's size and strength against them. Her dexterity combined with her speed make her deadly in close combat. Jack isn't hindered by any delusions of honor, and she fights as dirty as she can. While Jack usually fights to kill, it is something she considers fun and it shows in her fights as she usually plays with her opponent. However, when she decides it's time for things to end Jack is incredibly vicious and allows her opponent no time in between attacks. If she has any dinosaurs animated, Jack has a nasty habit of commanding them to attack her opponent from behind while she's fighting them.
Mid-range, Jack has to rely on her dinosaurs to fight for her, which they can do incredibly well. Usually, she will be riding on one of them, ordering commands. Her raptors are extremely good at coordinated group attacks and are intelligent enough to devise traps for their prey. Her other dinosaurs, however, are more independent and usually work apart from Jack and her raptors. They are also significantly less intelligent and usually go for a simple, head on attack or other base hunting instincts.

Others
Occupation: After she was deported to Australia, Jack took up bounty hunting on the side to keep out of jail, as well as keep a cap on her competition. Her main job, still remains freelancing as a mercenary and thief.
Current home: She's nomadic inside of Australia, but she's gotten an apartment in Cairns. You walk into the living room, which is cluttered with bones, mugs, papers, surfboards, and other junk. There are many potted plants around the room. Her couch, green and worn, lies under a window on the same side as the door. Across from it is a coffee table and tv. Heading straight from the door, you would enter the kitchen. In the center is a large dining table covered with more clutter. On the counters are many different coffee makers and the cabinets are all filled with coffee. The only thing in the refrigerator are various cuts of meat for her raptors. At the end of the living room, opposite of the door, is Jack's bedroom. The floor is almost always covered with her clothes. Inside the room, there are four major pieces of furniture: a queen sized bed, end table and lamp, book case, and dresser. Most of the drawers on the dresser are usually open and anyone who goes in runs the risk of getting hit with them. The room is arranged with the head of the bed on the wall to the left of the door, and the dresser along the wall to the right of the door. The book case is on the right side of the opposite wall, next to a heavily curtained window. On the far right wall is the door to the bathroom.
Favourite types of food: Coffee Cherries
Favourite types of drink: Coffee
Hobbies/past times: Surfing, taking road trips, watching sci-fi, video games, Raptor back riding, reading, star gazing/cloud watching, exploring, and hunting.
Guilty pleasures: Cuddling, being covered in blood, swimming during the night or the rain, dancing in the rain, star/cloud gazing.
Pet peeves: Unreactive people, people touching her hat/couch, tea, people calling her Jacqueline, being told to put a shirt on, and people underestimating her.
Pets: Jack often has one or two velociraptors follow her around. They take to behaving like dogs or small boney, toothed children when they aren't on the hunt. Often they'll sleep with her, either by cuddling next to her on the couch or climbing on top of her. They're extremely protective of her and can switch from puppy dog-like behavior to guard dog at the flip of a coin. However, Jack doesn't name them and usually communicates with them strictly in raptorspeak.
Talents: Although she's never realized it, Jack has a talent for languages. She learns them incredibly fast and is very good at pronunciation. She's also a very good swimmer and can hold her breath for insanely long periods of time.
Favourite colours: Jungle greens are her favorite as they remind her of The Island of the Damned/home. However, she only occasionally wears the colour and sticks mostly to blacks.
Favourite type of music: Jack likes folk/gypsy music. During her travels between countries, she would often tag along with caravans and she's gotten a taste for their music.

Race: Cambion
Gender: Female

Oh. Dear. GOD. This took forever to write, as obviously denoted by its length. I loved it though. It was so much fun realizing I could go into all the little details. Btw, I will be giving a prize to anyone who reads this whole thing. It's exactly 7,402 words as of this edition.
As before, the tl;dr of this is:
She's short
She's angry
She's a Cambion
She'll kick your ass
She'll kick your ass with necromanced Dinosaurs
Don't touch her hat
Don't lay on her couch
and don't stare at her boobs when she's not wearing a shirt unless you want to be called out on it.
