I really like the idea, and the drawing: The balance is very eyecatching, with the spots of black and crosshatching. As far as the technical side of the art, your drawing is mostly very realistic and engaging, although there are a few spots that you don't seem to have much practice with: mostly the area where the arm connects to the back. That area looks a little flat, I think you may have been unsure what to draw there and ended up using too much crosshatching. I'm not sure if the left to right gradient was intentional, but it looks nice so don't get rid of it. The hands look nice, i know that's hard to draw, so I'm espesially imresed. They really convey most of the emotion in the picture. Where is the light coming from in this picture? The gradient and lighting on most of the body and ribbon seem to indicate it comes from the upper right corner, but a few places, espesially on the back, don't seem well enough lit. That isn't all that important, though, since this is a surreal image and it can be different if you like. I understand the idea of the ghosts, but honestly they distract from the rest of the picture. They are obviosly menat to be unrealistic, but they end up looking rather sloppy, more like someone else drew on your paper before you could scan it in. They are do-able, but they should have smoother lines, and more depth: if you shaded them so that they seemed three dimensional they would fit better with the rest of the picture. The way you did the phantom hands would be a good reference for that. I like the two-dimensional-ness of the picture: no background, no one else. It really increases the emotional impat. In general, very nice, good technical drawing and good emotional impact. The back could use some work and the ghosts don't seem to fit, but overall I really like it.
I think it looks really nice, you obviosly had an idea in mind (cute) and you knew where you were going with it. it looks very planned and reproducable: aka very comercial, which you obviously had in mind when you put it up for adoption. The colors are very bright, which isn't a bad thing, it looks nice with your art style. The dots on the shoes don't really seem to fit, though. The shading is pretty mush non-existant, of course, which is fine, but you might want to make some parts of it darker than others, the stripes on her dress for example. Right now the only non-pale thing is the eyes, which draws your attention to them. You want to draw attention to the eyes, of coure, but i think not to the point of making the rest of the picture unnoticed. overall, very adorable!
