Daddy Built A Robot

My Daddy is so smart, he can build anything. He builds stuff for me all the time. One time he built me a doll house that had real working lights. Another time he built me real robot doggy. A lot of people liked my robot doggy and one day Daddy got a really good job building robot doggys ....and kitties, oh and even little teeny tiny robot bugs for the brave Army Men that wear the shiny shoes and sparkly pins.
One day Daddy came home from work very sad. He told Mommy that someone, somewhere, hurt a lot of kids. This made Mommy sad too. Daddy seemed quiet for the next few weeks and spent a lot of time in the basement. Mommy talked on the phone a lot to Grampa about Gum Control. I guess Grampa chews too much gum, cause they yell pretty loud about it. Mommy seems to think better Gum Control will protect me from getting hurt, like the kids Daddy was talking about. I guess Grampa thinks its ok to have as much gum as you want. Well I like Gum so I agree with Grampa.
On my birthday daddy brought me to the basement and gave me the greatest birthday present ever. Daddy built me a robot! I named her Daisy. Daisy was so much cooler than my robot doggy cause she was HUGE. Daisy was even bigger than Daddy. Mommy wasn't too happy about daisy at first, but then Daddy said that daisy would protect me from crazy people who use Gums to hurt kids. That seemed to make mommy happier.
Daisy is my best friend in the whole world, Daddy was right Daisy did protect me. One time a car almost ran me over but Daisy stopped it. Another time I lost Mommy and Daddy at the food store and Daisy found them. Daddy always warns me not to talk to strangers but no one ever tries to talk to me with Daisy around. Daisy can even get my Frisbee off the roof. I don't know why people keep talking about Gum Control to protect us kids when the answer is Daisy. I think every kid needs a big robot friend like Daisy!
