Hello Australia!

I've made it home ~
It's been a pretty amazing year in the US. A lot of ups and downs, but I've done things now I may never have the opportunity to do again. Dragon*Con and NYCC were both amazing, as was dressing up in Walt Disney World and Harry Potter World (to do this!). I was able to tour Disney's creative costuming department (I saw Thor's underwear!), do a backstage tour of the Haunted Mansion and Space Mountain, work on Main St and spread Disney magic everyday.
Have a lot of dreams/plans for the new year, but I'm also skint broke. xD Luckily I've already bought the fabric for a few costumes, but I may be pretty limited in traveling to cons for a while. That said...
Let the job hunt begin!

Dragon*Con

Hello all!
It's been a while (and a rather action-packed while at that). Just got home from Dragon*Con, which went something like this:
The con itself was such a surreal experience. Four day cons? That go until like 3am? And start up at 9 or 10am the next day? Across five hotels? With people everywhere and faces you've only seen online or heard of, and a thousand things happening at once and and and....phew. It was amazing. I'm completely desperate to come back one day.

The Most Magical Place on Earth

Hi there!
It's been a while so I thought I'd drop by to say a few words - mainly that I'm safe and sound in the US, working hard for the Mouse and loving every minute of it. It feels like no matter how much we do there will always be more to explore here, so we're staying very busy. In my spare moments (god I haven't had those in years) I'm practicing my meagre skills in photography and photoshop, so you may see some results trickle onto DA from that area. I've also been catching up on some backlog, so hopefully you'll see Supergirl, Batwoman and god knows what else soon.
We've had our first con (Megacon 2013) at which we debuted our Earth 63 Robins (minus, of course, our baby bro back home WE'LL SEE YOU SOON JILL) and we have big plans for the rest of the year. You'll catch us at Dragon*Con and New York Comic Con for sure; we're very excited for both! Now we just have to locate a fabric store we can actually reach.

Selling...Punzie's Wig?

WHY AM I DOING THIS
But yeah, heading overseas in a couple of months means I have to shift a few things...even my dearest Punzie wig. So. Punzie wig. Not gonna lie, it's not in tip-top condition (the underside is quite matted from brushing against my back, for example). As a result I'm including an extra wig in the same colour to cut apart and use as additional wefts if needed, as well as some extra flowers for those pesky gaps. The photos in my sales album on Facebook were taken recently and show what's included (not the head though
). My sales album on Facebook is here, but please PM me here with any questions! I'm also selling a couple of the costumes, including Yuffie and Touko, so head on over to check it out. 
I can't possibly put a price on it, though I'm hoping to at least cover costs (about AU$170-$180). Because of that I'm essentially running a blind auction - if you're interested, PM me with a bid.
I'd prefer Sydney-siders for the obvious reason, but if you're willing to pay buckets for shipping I won't stop you!

Hogwarts High Tea

SO EXCITED :'D
I'm thrilled to be organising Hogwarts High Tea as a fundraiser for the Starlight Foundation. It should be an amazing day; potions and duelling and trivia and all! Not to mention, there's a Quidditch tournament happening on the same campus on the same weekend, so even outside of the Great Hall there will just be amazing people everywhere. <3

PS. If you're an interstater looking for a strong excuse to make the trip, we're probably going to schedule a Disney-themed farewell event for the Sunday of that weekend. Nothing over the top (most likely a picnic or similar) but a lot of fun anyway.
PPS. If you're not sure why I'm having a Disney-themed farewell event, since I just realised I never posted it here: I'm going to work at Walt Disney World (Florida) for a full year from January 2013. Couldn't be more thrilled!
