Something I started doing about 10 years ago was creating what I call Neo-Mandala Art. While my images are not exactly spiritual in nature they are inspired by the long history Mandala art. My Neo-Mandalas are far from minimal in their design. However, while I make them they quiet my thoughts. So in some ways there is a bit of a spiritual element in my whimsical discoid images. I have always been interested in vintage images of all sorts. I would spend hours looking through the old faded and yellowed photographs of my grandmother's photo box and old magazines. For a few years now have been going on journeys to all corners of the universe and visiting such amazing places. It seem some of my recent work has been combining these things. I would not exactly call the work vintage but they evoke some of those feelings in me. I have been on real life journeys all over the globe.
