MK Tribute Rule Change / Invitation

Hiya, nearly 90 entries have been submitted since i started the MK Tribute in September 2011 with the target to get all the characters drawn and now since June 2012 even including all their different designs from MK I up to todays MK9

For now it was a rule that every artist could claim only one entry, due to the big number of designs however that decision was changed today finally.

You, and a few other artists who were chosen because they made an impressive entry already are welcome to claim one more if you want

The list of the remaining characters can be seen here: [link]

All so far contributed entries since June can be seen here: [link]

Happy weekend,

Thanks for the watch!
Man, I'm in love with your work! It's two o clock and before I could go to bed I just had to go through your whole gallery. I'm 17 and I'm just starting to get more into my art. And my style i'm trying to develop is similar to yours. What do you use for your art? I'm about to buy a tablet but like what programs do you use, etc to draw and color? Really great stuff :)
Thanks! Kind of you to say. At your age I just drew all the time, mostly in sketchbooks. Pretty much everything you see posted here was all created in Photoshop. I use a cintiq to do so. In honesty I feel like I'm still learning all the time myself. Keep at it man, you're off to a great start!
yeah, I think the hardest part for me that I'm finding now as I get more serious about this is trying to imagine what characters or things look like in my head. This is normal right? aha I'm not like mentally awkward or anything right? aha
Draw from life. A lot!! That's honestly where you should start. The style and look will absolutely follow I promise. Get into some life drawing classes, draw people at coffee shops or where ever you can. Life drawing is huge! Trying to figure out how things look in your head will become a natural reaction if you first learn as much as you can from drawing real people, places and things from life. There's nothing awkward about starting there ;)
