[TOW] Strange Marks

Prompt: Stories in Stone

Tasked with trying to decipher the strange marks on the cave, Vicars Twyla and Delores examine the wall for what feels like forever trying to make sense of what was in front of them. All that could be gathered is these marks were left by their ancestors - wolves from the single faction before the packs as they know them today existed. One could only wonder what these marks meant, as the wolves who painted them died long ago.

Delores theorizes that, since the cave was noticed only now, the wolves may have been closed off, and with frayed minds and lowering sanity, they painted the marks on the walls - a cry for help? Something to do to cling to the last of their sanity before hunger took hold?

Twyla thought similarly, but not quite so grimly. Her theory is that something happened, something that warranted the wolves to come to a cave secluded from the elements, with walls safe from the brunt of the tides, to leave a warning for future generations. What were they warning the future about? Twyla almost doesn't want to know.
