[TOW] Stalked

CW: Stalking

It started with an odd feeling of being watched. Eliana initially chalked it up to something else - maybe a bird, or another predator, or something, just observing her as she passed out of her sight. When the feeling became constant she began to get a bit suspicious that something was lurking in her general vicinity... and whatever it was knew how to stay out of sight and out of detection range. Eliana again just ended up chalking it up to nerves.

Nearing the end of the night, she laid down for a nap in a secluded area, but found herself having trouble sleeping. Sleep was out of the question the minute she heard bushes rustle, but she was too scared to move. Who was it? More rustling and it faded. After a moment of being frozen in fear, she got up to investigate, fangs bared.

No one. But the one thing she feared was present on the ground.

Pawprints. She sniffed them to get an idea of WHO this was. Her fur was bristling as she did. She couldn't pick up any distinct telltale signs of where this creature was from, but what she could infer that this was a wolf and their scent was ever so slightly familiar, but not enough for Eliana to make a conclusion with utmost certainty.

Eliana wasted no time. She went in the opposite direction of where the pawprints were headed, starting as quietly as she could at first before sprinting as fast as she could.

She was not going to get any sleep anytime soon, not after finding out that someone was stalking her. She needed to lose their trail before she finds out who exactly this is and what they want.
