[TOW] Pick Your Poison

TW: Contains Ingo conspiring for murder (even if she ultimately doesn't act on it). Reader discretion is advised.

Adjusting to her half blindness was no easy feat. The more the event played in Ingo's mind over and over, the angrier she got. How it felt like nobody cared, that it was all an accident. But it wasn't. Ingo wouldn't be here if nobody were watching that day. But all because Titus said that they got carried away, everything was dandy.

Naturally, dark thoughts began to develop in Ingo's mind due to the unrelenting anger she felt. She figured if no one was going to deal with Titus, perhaps she would do so herself before that wolf actually murdered someone.

So, sitting alone against a rock in the hitharian highlands, she let the intrusive thoughts wander. She thought of how she could kill Titus - specifically, what herbs to use. Perhaps sneak larkspur or nightshade into their meal. Toss hogweed into their eyes to blind them before killing them herself. Trip them into a patch of wolfsbane and watch them writhe - she knew what plants could work best thanks to being friends with a herb inclined wolf back at home. As Ingo thought, her claws dug into the sandy dirt beneath her paws.

Then, she shook her head roughly as if trying to knock the thoughts out of her head. Was she crazy? If Titus suddenly died, it would be obvious it was her. And Ingo had nowhere to go. Besides... was this really her? Was she really a murderer? Would she be any better if she stooped to Titus's level?

Ingo closed her eyes and took in a few deep breaths, feeling her anger start to melt away a bit. She really needed to find a better way to manage her emotions. Conspiring for murder wasn't the way to go. She figured maybe she could get into relearning combat skills instead, so when the need arises, she can fight.

After all, she had a disability to adjust to still. The images of the poisonous plants faded from her mind and she got up to return to the rest of her pack to figure out what to do that wasn't plotting Titus' demise.

Prompt: I will either find a way or I will make one

Ingo almost lets the intrusive thoughts win. She is not in a very good headspace rn but she ultimately decides to redirect her anger to more healthy coping methods. Takes place before her spar with Llaloc

Should make a note that the plants in front of her are all imaginary - she did not actually go collect poisonous plants (she'd be dead if she did because one of the plants in the image is wolfsbane which wolves should not be touching). The plants shown from left to right are larkspur, hogweed, nightshade and wolfsbane. Im not good at drawing specific plants but i wanted this piece out the door XD
