[TOW] Broken Crown

Siebold had spent the summer as an Auslander in Namün, quietly observing and learning the pack's ways ever since his questioning. He's met a few pack members but Siebold didn't make an effort to get attached to anyone quite yet. Just in case he changed his mind and left for greener pastures.

However, the more he stayed the more he felt at home in Namün. His dark coat blended into the gloomy forests of Namün. The members, while a bit strange and a slight bit uncomfortably morbid, they were well meaning. One, Hollis, even went out of their way to rescue Siebold when he fell into one of the many pit traps dotted around the territory. Siebold found himself adjusting easily to the pack as time went on. He took special note of the pack's laws and customs, finding himself engrossed in the culture of the pack as strange as he initially thought them to be.

As the plants began to fade to a brownish colour, Siebold knew that Namün was home now. He wanted to stay in the pack. So before the Namünen Council and a Mitteling Augur, Siebold uttered his oath:

"I, Siebold, solemnly swear that I will strive to live up to and honor the values and spirit of Namünen Laws to the best of my ability and knowledge; I will not run from my fears, but seek to stand strong, in unity, alongside them; I will preserve and defend the sacred secrets entrusted to me as I walk the path of the Namünen with unwavering dedication and integrity. I understand that this oath is not to be taken lightly, and I am prepared to embrace the challenges and responsibilities that come with it. I am aware that breaking this oath will result in severe consequences and the loss of my standing within the Namünen community. With every step I take on this path, I will honor the legacy of those who came before me and pave the way for future generations to follow."

With this oath, Siebold leaves his former life - the one where he lived as a pack leader or a large pack - behind. For good. Siebold was a Namünen now and his past was behind him.

The new fall prompt i used for this piece was perfect for Siebold's oath, so i drew something up because i had the idea in my head for a couple days. Siebold finally takes his Oath and enters the kindergarten
