Alternate title: how a simple art challenge snowballed hard

So it started with a meme in a discord server with friends, prompting people to ask others what their artstyle traits are and draw without them. For myself, my main traits were the use of the binary brush and also the difference between how i draw eyes for animal characters (no sclera) vs how i draw eyes for humanoid characters (sclera), among some other details. One friend in particular wanted me to reverse the eye style. So i was like "hmm, that would look cool on an inkling or octoling character" because i'm a massive splatoon fan, plus i think solid coloured eyes would look neat.

Then i listened to this song (title of this image is actually a line from the song) and once it got to the like last minute of the song i got hit with the brick of inspiration and i was like.... side order is out in 2 weeks... i gotta draw something for it.

The regular fuzzy lines are actually nice to work with. I might not use them regularly because i like my sharp as a knife lines, its kind of a staple to my style at this rate. But, it was nice to change things up a bit. I might see what i can draw without my art style traits when it comes to wolves as that might be easier to see a difference. Another trait of my artstyle i kind of saw myself is i use bucket tool to colour, so i did not use bucket tool for this piece and instead used the brush i used for the background for colouring (i forgot who made the brush but the brush is called new n fresh... i thought i had it favourited on DA but i looked and its not there)

Hope you enjoy this one, i think it might be just what i needed to break out of art block somewhat, this was fun to work on.
