Elio and Twyla - Here to Stay

Prompt: This is what joy looks like

Elio runs down to meet up with his sister, the twins wagging their tails happily in greeting. Twyla is still surprised,

"Elio, you're back so soon!" She said, "I thought you would be off exploring or something, dude." she giggled.

"Yeah, i missed ya." Elio said "I'm here to stay. I'm coming home."

Twyla's shock at that statement was immeasurable. Elio wasn't just here to visit. He was here to stay - the two of them would be packmates once more. She immediately tackled Elio with a hug, and after the embrace ended, the two of them jumped and frolicked around in the field, brimming with joy reminiscent of a pup. It wouldn't be until the two tired themselves out that they hurried back to formally tell Oleander that Elio wanted to rejoin before the last of the light died.

There was still much to discuss afterward. Twyla had questions about Elio's journeys, especially the scar on his shoulder that he has now.

And here we are! Elio rejoins Tephe (though won't formally be in the pack for a bit because this last upload is the piece that puts him at enough prompts to purchase the switch). Thanks so much sensh-ii for allowing my man to join the pack!

Elio was actually planned to never join a pack, but as time went on i felt like he would rejoin Tephe, finally realizing that a wolf like him just wasn't suited for loner life - he fared better at home surrounded by family and wolves to talk to and meet. I'm so excited to see what antics he gets into as a pack wolf. I do wish i made more pieces from when he was a loner but i can always do flashbacks for those if i want to. What's important is i managed to get this little plot done basically on time (i pitched it for late summer at the earliest and its just about fall now, and latest hopeful time was mid fall).
