A flashback piece! A very rough one! :') This is a companionship piece to this one:

its the same scene in Aurabel's POV! I had a lot of fun taking the scene Nik crafted and warping it to be how Aurabel saw and remembers the scene current day - its like she's recalling the memory but of course given that she just turned 6 years old and the memory is traumatic, she doesn't remember a lot of details. Like what was said that day. All she remembers from that day was that her family was changed forever because of a wolf named Jolene, and that it was the source of her angry demeanor.

On another note... why Hexagonal medallion??? DA decided Aurabel's circular medal thats uploaded to its site is illegal. like it would NOT upload the pdf file if that image was present in the doc. specifically that image. Any other image worked but that one. i could remove the name on the medallion or aurabel herself and insert that as an image and DA would upload the file fine, but if she and her name were present? nope fuck you. Doesn't matter what png file it is or if i linked the image url, if it was THAT image i wasn't allowed to upload the file, just got a vague error. I have a feeling DA is tripping the image as some form of NSFW because things insist on using AI for some reason but the image is LITERALLY on DA so idk why it would be doing that, but otherwise i guess Aurabel will be getting a new medallion since its just that specific combination of visuals thats making DA throw a conniption.
