[DOTW] Vantablack's Moodboard MSE

I don't do the whole moodboards thing but Vantablack was kind of just a freebie LMAO. Below is the interviews and at the very bottom, credits for the 8 pictures i used (the middle photo is of Ebony, my cat)

• CHARACTER INTERVIEW QUESTIONS

  • Let's start off with an easy one! How would you like to introduce yourself? - "My name is Vantablack. Of Grayard."

  • Fancy! Now... who do you consider family? - "Those who are related to me by blood and those who have chosen me as family are my family."

  • What achievement are you most proud of? - "I am most proud of my current climb up the ranks as a Rake. I am getting very close to rising to the Rib Rank..."

  • Tell us what you consider your greatest flaw. - "I lurk too silently and scare others without meaning to."

  • Talk about your closest friends or most respected mentors! - "Isaiah is a great wolf i consider a friend - he is friendly and funny. Talni is also a very kind, friendly wolf i'm glad to have spoken to, though i have not spoken to him very much. Maeve is another friendly face that i enjoy seeing around."

  • And what about rivals? ...Enemies? - "You'd be hard pressed to make a rival or an enemy out of me."

  • Do you believe in any higher powers? Gods or spirits? Tell us about it! - "...No thanks"

  • What do you think a wolf should value the most? - "A wolf should value their close ones... they never know when they might be gone."

  • You must have dreams. What is it you want out of life?  - "I want to rise to the highest rank i can manage in Grayard and keep moving forward"

  • If you could change one thing about the past, what would it be? - "I would take my family away from the danger that killed them..."
     

• CHARACTER MUSE QUESTIONS

  • What external character/song/idea/etc provided the biggest inspiration for your character? - Characters just pop into my brain at random. I think Hintertomb's general vibes gave me inspiration to make a shadow black wolf with piercing eyes. For some flair i made Vantablack brown-tinted. I did originally create Vanta for hintertomb in 2023

  • What part of yourself is most visible in your character? - Definitely them being a quieter individual who cares for those they befriend. And their bluntness at times lol. Also they are Non-binary just like me!

  • In general, what goals do you have for your character's future? - Its not set in stone of course but i think it would be a big accomplishment if Vantablack reached the thew rank, but thats not within my own control so we'll see! For a more achievable goal though, i want Vantablack to eventually have some pups, i feel they'd make a good parent and i have ideas for a Vanta child eventually.

  • What aspect of your character has surprised you the most throughout their development? - I just like how mysterious Vantablack came out and i really like how devoted they are to Hintertomb still even though they are far from it. They are a treat to write!

  • What is something you character didn't get the chance to talk about (or maybe left out) in their interview, that's worth knowing? - Vantablack left out their beliefs in the Great Ones intentionally, they do not like talking about them or mentioning them.
