First Impressions: Anton is a sweet fellow right out the gate - he always speaks in a calm tone, even if its hard to pronounce some words correctly due to his underbite-caused lisp, and he is always nice to wolves when they meet him. Honestly the only time he wouldn't be nice as a first impression is if you gave him a reason not to be. He is nice and friendly by default, wanting to be a welcoming face.

Notable Physical Features: He has a prominent underbite with both his bottom canines sticking out and over the top of his jaw. This underbite causes him to speak with a lisp, making it quite the prominent feature. He is moderately sturdy with thick fur that has brown and red tones, with some greys mixed in.

Posture and Gait: He has a fairly average posture and gait. He stands tall, but not too tall, and he walks fine.

Habits and Pastimes: He likes to go on walks and identify different plants, even collecting plants with herbal properties if he is living in or near a pack that could use them.

Positive Traits

Gentle | Altruistic | Empathetic

Anton is a gentle soul, who’s only goal is to be kind to others and be a friendly face for someone to confide in if need be. His altruism and love to help others came from his time serving his birth pack as a healer, and though his days of medical work are over, his altruism and empathy he built from that field remain. He is always willing to lend an ear for those who need to vent, or a paw for those who need help with practically anything. He has a good heart and he wants to put it to good use. He is also very gentle in a physical sense, treating everything with care - whether its another wolf or even just a rock. He is especially gentle around smaller creatures like wolf pups, treating them with utmost respect and care.

Due to traumatic events in his past, he can be fairly reserved despite his kindness. Anton needs time to himself to recharge lest he becomes overwhelmed, and sometimes he may spend long periods away from other wolves recharging the social battery. He has always been some form of reserved and introverted, though his need to be alone has increased since an incident in his past.

Anton is very self critical of himself - his own worst critic. From the moment he began to find success in his field of work, he always second guesses himself and has low confidence in his abilities despite handling himself well. It is very easy for failure to shatter his confidence completely to the point of giving up something he enjoys doing. He can be quite absentminded, moreso recently than all his life. He can focus when he needs to, but his mind is almost always in another place when idle, and he commonly walks into trees or other obstacles because he is so deep in thought. He is also self sacrificing, another leftover from being a healer and also somewhat from being a father. He cares about others so much that he is willing to give up his own resources if it means someone else is helped by the sacrifice he made.

• Anton was born to a loving couple, Farkas and Kodiak, along with three other siblings: Brothers Ash and Anders and sister Zosia. Anton and Zosia in particular formed a bond and became partners in crime, terrorizing their pack with their antics as kids.

• Sometimes, the siblings terrorized each other. Anton was very young when he received his first scars - some scars on his nose from when Zosia bit it during play.

• As the pups grew up, they looked into what they wanted to do. Anton wanted to become a healer, so when he was old enough, he began to train for that position. His most frequent patient during training and subsequently when he became a healer full time was Zosia, who was always getting herself hurt as a hunter.

• One of his largest accomplishments was when the pack was attacked by a band of rogues, and he managed to successfully treat the wounds of many wolves - including Zosia who had taken a bad fall down a rocky slope.

• Time went on, and Anton continued to rise through the ranks and became the lead healer of his pack. He was very keen on the herbs and how healing worked and he was praised for his skill. However, this praise and expectation started to pile on and Anton started to become more critical of himself.

• Eventually, to take his mind off healing patients, Zosia would drag him out on her hunting trips so he could focus on collecting herbs rather than fretting over his skills. This helped for a bit, but ultimately he would still worry about his own skills and living up to the expectations of others.

• One day, Anton met a wolf in the pack named Lillian. Lillian had gotten injured in a hunt and decided to switch tasks to become a healer after her injury didn’t heal properly, and Anton was the one to teach her all that was needed to know. She had joined recently but as time went on, they learned more about each other - that they were similar in age and had a lot of the same interests. Their friendship started to grow beyond just another friendship as both wolves fell in love, which the romantic feelings developed over time and became known to both wolves who decided to take things further after months of friendship.

• As their relationship blossomed, Lillian was expecting a litter of pups. It wasn’t planned, but Anton stepped up and was excited about the prospect of fatherhood. In the wake of the accidental litter, Lillian and Anton felt it was time to finalize their mateship and became mates officially.

• The two wolves had a single pup named Vigo, who they doted on.

• Not long after, Anton’s parents had another litter of pups, and Anton was excited to be an older brother. He enjoyed hanging out with his younger siblings and babysitting them when his parents were busy. Vigo got along well with his younger aunts and uncle.

• A few months after his younger siblings were born, his father stepped down as pack leader and appointed Zosia as the new alpha, and Anton noticed a shift in mood of his youngest sibling, Randale. Though he brushed the behaviour change off since he was just a kid and was probably jealous of his older sister.

• As Vigo got older, he became interested in healing and wanted his parents to teach him the ways of healing, which Anton was more than happy to do so.

• More time passed, and Zosia eventually fell pregnant when a band of wandering loners visited the pack amicably, and would go on to give birth to two pups. Anton, despite being even busier than before as the lead healer, made time to get to know his nephews. He quickly became their favourite uncle and he would hang out with them and play with them whenever he had free time.

• Not long after Mateusz and Melchoir were born, Vigo felt a sense of adventure and made his departure from the pack, saying goodbye to his parents first before leaving the pack.

• Anton formed a close bond with his nephews, but things would change drastically in a short amount of time. He was busy in the healer’s den at the time of the incident, but panicked murmurs and Zosia bursting into the den with the bloody body of Melchoir - with Mateusz in tow - told Anton all he needed to know at the moment. Melchoir had been injured gravely - attacked. He saw the fury in Zosia’s red eye.

• Anton tried his hardest, using his skills as a healer to try and save Melchoir while other healers tended to Mateusz who’s injuries from the attack paled in comparison. Once word of what happened reached the healer’s den, Anton felt like he was living in a nightmare. His own flesh and blood - Randale - did this.

• Despite his best efforts, Melchoir succumbed to his wounds. Anton had tried his hardest and he failed when it mattered the most. He was overcome with guilt and shame for failing his sister. Despite reassurement from all of his family members - including Zosia after the peak of her grief had passed - Anton could never forgive himself.

• Healing - something that was once something he loved - became dull and hollow. Anton had constant nightmares about Melchoir and every day he feared that he would fail again, and it began to show in his work.

• After he had realized his general work was getting worse, he stepped down as lead healer and healer entirely, becoming a trader instead, all while his mate worried for him.

• During the hottest weather of summer, a fire from a rainless lightning storm tore through the dried foliage of the pack. The pack was scattered by the fire, and Anton tried to escape with Lillian, though during the escape a flaming branch fell onto Lillian, and with how dangerous it was, Anton was forced to leave the already doomed wolf behind.

• Anton traveled alone after the fall of his pack, grieving the loss of Lillian while on the lonely road.

• Eventually during his travels, Anton caught a familiar scent - his family and some of his packmates. He followed the trail immediately and came upon a new area - a new pack where some of his family was staying. There were some family members missing, though.

• Anton stayed in this pack throughout the winter, waiting for his missing family members to show up. When spring came, though, he decided to leave, bidding his remaining family - namely his parents, farewell. He wanted to search for his family.

• During his second stint of being a loner, he ran into Vigo, who had come upon the abandoned territory of Silvergard some time prior. Anton told Vigo everything that had happened… and grieved together at the loss of Lillian. They stayed together for a few days before Vigo decided to head towards the pack that Anton was just at to meet up with whoever remained.

• After some time of travel, Anton was growing weary again. Around the same time, he stumbled upon another pack - known as Hintertomb. Perhaps this would be a place to stop at for now…

• Anton has still retained his herbal knowledge, but will only put it to use in a pinch. Failing to save Melchoir left a deep scar and Anton has vowed to never become a healer again because he does not want to fail at that amount again.

• Despite closing the door on being a healer, he still keeps his healer mindset and strives to help others in different ways.
