Young Nerdanel in colour

This one started out as a quick study of my young model's Kelli's face before the monochromatic piece, but once I had tried some flaming shades to bring out her red hair my artistic appetite to continue with it grew, and thankfully my model's mother was also interested in seeing this piece finished. Slightly to my own surprise I used for this one a medium I haven't worked with during my adult years at all: a tiny box of coloured crayons issued for children.
