If I did a Batman Beyond film, it'd play out like Blade. The movie would be a horror film. We got the religious nuts from the Order of St. Dumas making all the poor citizens of Gotham crazy, running around the streets biting people in the neck, and other "unexplainable" supernatural things (which will be revealed to be very elaborate sham). And St. Dumas claims to have summon the dangerous angel of death ghost assassin Azreal to wipe out Gotham's most influential. As the evil spreads throughout Gotham, the legendary bat-demon protector of Gotham resurfaces, apparently reanimated from the dead, Bruce Wayne's body missing from the grave! As Batman stops the spread of evil, it leads to the ultimate climatic fight between Batman and Azreal... of course, in the huge St. Dumas church tower and there's a thunderstorm outside. Batman manages to defeat Azreal, revealing him to be human after all and the mastermind behind the church. Gotham is saved. And Batman has disappeared once again. His body is returned to the grave, but how is that possible?!!! Cloaked in invisible "Predator" like camouflage, Batman is perched on a gargoyle overlooking the confusion. A bolt of lightning flashes, whiting out the screen, and then he's gone.
