Eastern-Star

Very beautiful shot here; the different shades of green make the whole photo look like a glistening emerald. I especially like the backlight - it gives the picture a warm, summery atmosphere - and the way the middle of the clover is lit up and seems to glow. The moss, also, was a favorite: the way it fades out from the clover, but is so clear right beneath it.

There are quite a few photos similar to this on dA, with the lone clover leaf held up against a similarly lit background, but I've never seen one with this kind of angling, with the clover perched so precariously on the slope, and the impact is very good. It's a sad kind of picture, but beautiful, too. First rate job!
