It seems like there's a confusion over what I mean when I say "Color Variation", so I hope this helps clear it up.
Color Variation for these commissions mean you're purchasing additional color-designs for your next gen in order to give you more samples to choose from. I use the same lineart I make for the initial commission and give them different color designs, and you can do whatever you like with said color designs regardless of whether or not you actually use them for the next gen character. Here's an example of one I've done with color variations:

So I got a few requests for the NextGen design slots so... I guess I'm opening them. o3o These will be limited slots and they will be first come first serve, so if you want one you best be quick on the draw! However I must remind you guys about these commissions because they're a little different from the norm: I honestly think these will work better if you allow me some artistic liberty over their designs and trust me to make something you'll like based on: the chosen parents, their overall disposition/character, gender identification (if they have one), and maybe a desired body type and color-scheme if you want to get a little more specific. I can always show you the initial sketch of the character before getting to coloring but these aren't meant to be reference commissions, where you give me all the specifics of a character that already exists in its entirety. They're design commissions, where you give me the task of creating the appearance for a character that doesn't have one yet, and I do what I'm good at. If you aren't comfortable with that, then these aren't the commissions for you (you're more than free to voice you concerns, however, and I'll answer any question you have if you have any doubts!).

Now with that said, a few rules for the slots in question:

-MLP nextgens only at the moment (any species that exist in the MLP world is applicable: centaurs, dragons, equine, sphinx, yaks, minotaurs, griffons, so on.)
-The nextgen designs don't have to be exclusively canon-character children. They can be children of OCs if wanted! (please no canon x OC though. I'm not interested in doing that I'm afraid)
-The characters don't have to have pony-only parents either; I'm very interested to see what ya'll come up with in that regard!
-I will not design the cutie marks of the character (if applicable at all).
-The character in question can be anthromorphic if you prefer that instead
-At the moment, you can't ask me to design anymore than 2 characters at a time. Those two characters can be related or can be completely different NextGens.
-Given me being busy with finals these can't and probably won't be done immediately (which also means you don't have to be able to pay right this minute either). I'll let you know when I can start work on them.
-Only one slot per person
-When pay time comes use PAYPAL ONLY. If you don't have paypal but do have a debit/credit card then invoices can be done as an alternative
-Ask me anything if you feel unsure about something!


Now with the rules out of the way, here's the low-down of what I'm offering. The prices below apply to just 1 given design. Asking for a second design, even if it is just a variation of the same character, will cost extra:
