Breaking Free

Alternate title is "No Longer Set in Stone"This is a speedpainting print I finished for both Bronycon and a illustrated page for the Headcanon Book. C: I wanted to do something with Discord that I don't often see, and it's him being kinda... scary? Intimidating? Something like that. So I played around with the concept and tried out him breaking free of his stone prison.

There are a few inconsistencies here and there that I'll touch up later (especially make his eyes and highlights brighter; the scanner didn't take well to them for some reason :C), but for the most part I'm very pleased with the outcome of this one. It was a bunch of fun to both draw and paint, especially the breaking/crumbling stone; it's something I've never done before. O:
