Sonic Characters Chao Find Custom Sprites

To honor the 25th anniversary of Sonic adventure from 1998 and the 20th anniversary of Sonic heroes from 2003, I decided to make chao find sprites of almost all of the sonic characters to show my gratitude to the sonic series, specially since Sonic Adventure was the first sonic game I ever played and Sonic heroes was the first sonic game I ever owned. specifically the dreamcast era.

rules

now there are a set of rules i made when i got to make these sprites;

1. i will only focus more on the main series game characters, including those that some claim aren't canon despite the lore being highly focus on the main game series.

2. if an outside character from Sonic X, SatAM, Sonic Underground, Sonic boom, sonic the movie or the sonic IDW comic character makes a slight cameo in the actual game, then i would include them.

3. due to me cutting ties with them, i will not include Archie comic characters. meaning that despite the comic appearing in sonic mega collection +, i will not include of them at all in the lineup.

4. any prominent characters that were scrapped but were never reuse will be included in the scrapped category, if a scrapped concept character was used for another character, then they won't be included. if the scrapped character is brought back in the later edition of the game, that scrapped character would be placed among the other characters he/she was meant to appear with.

5. if an enemy inspired a character from the other sonic media, then that character will be included.

6. no outside crossover, so characters from Mario, NiGHTS, Samba De amigo and others won't be included in the lineup.

7. the order of the characters placement are the order i believe each of their debut game goes in the era timeline.

8. if a character wears a disguise or can be customize, they will only be included with their actual appearance, meaning that E-10000B won't be included since he's metal sonic. and Metal amy or Metal Tails won't be included since they're just alternate outfit the robot "Prototype" wears. this also goes for the characters from sonic and the secret ring, sonic and the black knight and sonic prime.

9. if the character is too massive, then they won't be included. the limit of the height is by E-105 zeta's height, being the largest of these sprites. characters like BioLizard, dark gaia or time eater won't be included.

10. the game has to focus on the game series' canon. meaning that games like "dr robotnik's mean bean machine", "sonic underground lcd game" or "sonic X leapster" won't count since those games are more in the logic of the SatAM and sonic X series canon.

11. some of the characters from the classic era are given dreamcast / modern era designs, some of which were designed by me, others by ian flynn.

12. although eggman has his SatAM design in some of the classic game, the game focus more on the game series than the SATAM

now that we settle the rules, let's get going.

now for the era that focused more on the mystery of the master emerald, the knuckles clan, the chao, the origin of shadow the hedgehog and the origin of the gizoids. although many claim that the dreamcast and the modern era are the same, let me remind you that the modern era has nothing to do with what i say the dreamcast era represent.

also sonic generation confirms that there are in fact 3 eras, so there ya have it.
