This locomotive belonged to the Pasto Viejo sugar mill in Humacao which is on the east side of the island. It was one of 2 10-22E-110 locomotives ordered for the mill. It worked on transport sugar from the fields to the mill. The mill’s railroad was renamed to the Eastern Sugar Associates Railroad and was re-lettered. After the ESA merged with the Fajardo Development Company railroad it became Fajardo-Eastern Associates #7. Later on in the 1960’s the railroad was merged with various other cane railroads by C. Brewer PR. The locomotive last ran under steam in 1967. In 1968 it was placed on display in Levittown while it’s twin was purchased by Jorge Wirshing and later became the main locomotive at Wirshing’s railroad park. The #7 was used for a documentary of the railroad history in 1983. Since then it has remained in the same spot ever since.
