CONTEMPLATION by Onion, E. Staring at the wall, Contemplating with himself What needs to be done.Sometimes, it is clear; The answer, so obvious; But he remains still.He could not let go What he never wanted to, But he had no choice.He tried to change things In all the possible ways; But nothing worked out.No joy, no sorrow, And no thoughts of tomorrow. He just feels nothing.No reason to live, And yet, no desire to die. Forced to just exist.And so, there he sits, Just wondering if and when He will do something.
