Yaaaay another fully-digital piece! I need lots of practise because I am slow learner. I am trying the new way to do eye-shine. I think this is closer to the proper way to do it...? Oh, I just noticed that the Magic Licence hanging on the wall looks like fweaking Eklips. Oh well, it's not the actual licence design anyway.
These are my OCs, Manel and Rosa at Rosa’s home. Manel wants to be a writer of murder mystery novels, so he’s always willing to be wandering about for fresh ideas. Rosa is an apprentice witch who lives with her mentor and takes care of the supplies in the house.
Oh, for the story below, I used the Quote format for my story but my text appears like normal text like the rest of this description. Please tell me, do you see normal text only italicised? Or do you see the text margin going a bit inwards? I am not able to see the new interface and am stuck with the old, so some input would be great.
Done in Krita, with flower tone material from MediBang (it's for the blue vitality kits, but it got blurred in the end anyway, facepalm).
Rosa is still an apprentice witch, but she does plan to open her own little shop of potions and salves (with approval from the Government, of course). At present, her mentor sells potions and salves, and also does fortune-telling. Although witches are not exactly mages who wield forces of nature, the Government of Sigma declared them as magic practitioners nonetheless, so they should apply for the Magic Licence in order to continue their operations legally. (If not, it's death penalty for you.)
One day, Rosa was organising her mentor's stock. Moisturising lotions, check. Vitality kit for physical health, check. Oh, water the plants... check.
"Hola, Rosa," said a voice from the shadows.
Rosa turns around casually, knowing exactly who it was. "Hey, Manel," she replies.
"I have been thinking," says Manel. "Not many people would frequent a witch's hut, but those who do usually have an ulterior motive~"
"Usually their 'motive' for coming here is to care for their skin and body..." replies Rosa with a smile. "And sometimes, they come for the Madam's fortune-telling, too." Manel can be a bit ridiculous at times, but she enjoys his company anyway.
"Maybe... maybe not~ Let me work for you, let me be your market surveyor. I can find out why they come and purchase, or what exactly it is that they're looking for; then you can make more specific products and sell them at a higher price."
Rosa only looks at Manel blankly. "Oh... so you're in it for the money?"
Manel says, "No, I just want to get ideas for my story. Everyone is a potential murderer, what more those who resort to seeing witches. More money means you can afford to hire me longer."
"Yeah OK thanks, Manel," Rosa replies with a chuckle. "We'll see what the Madam says."

To me it looks:
brighter white color
Thanks for input, man.
Ah, so it is the same as what I see. OK then.
Sure sucks to be in the rollback version of this buggy UI. I wonder what people with the newer Eclipse interface would see...

"Hello, my name is Manel and I'm interested in murder. Would you please let me inside your home?"
