Dust thou art and unto dust shalt thou return. [Genesis 3:19]

When I pass

and my atoms are free,

I hope they explore the universe

I never got to see.

Passing is yet another liminal moment

For stardust to unbound

From the once living, thriving flesh

And lift itself off the ground

To drift away and never return

Or maybe in a different morph

For as it was once fortunate enough

To feel its genuine worth.
