"... is a comic book artist, mostly working in the horror/adult genre. My main graphic novel FAUST was adapted by Brian Yuzna as the movie Faust: Love of the Damned (2001). The followup Faust: Book of M was nominated for the 1999 Bram Stoker Award for Best Illustrated Narrative. I am responsible for creating the "DynaPop" style of art and was a key member of the Rebel Studios crew. I have done art: for the comics anthology Caliber Presents at Caliber Comics for the title Morella at Verotik (the comic book label of The Misfits leader Glenn Danzig) for Broken Halos Studios, such as Broken Halo, Gunfighters in Hell (featuring art by my brother Joe Vigil), and the artbooks Dark Utopia and Gothic Nights With fellow Rebel Studios writer David Quinn, co-created the Faust series: Faust (at Rebel Studios) - adapted by Brian Yuzna as the 2001 movie Faust: Love of the Damned Faust: Book of M (at Avatar Press) - nominated for the 1999 Bram Stoker Award for Best Illustrated Narrative Faust: Singha's Talons (at Avatar Press) I also created the titles: EO and Webwitch (at Avatar Press).

Heh, I remember how psyched I was as a kid after seeing the art of FAUST to get my hands on a book, but my mom instantly took it away! lol :-D

Really, really nice work! I love the detail level in your style, it's exactly what I would do if I could actually do it LOL  I grew up on the Fantasy Art Greats like Frazetta and Boris V. and really like those types of influences in your work. I was surprised to not see more of your works in color, don't get me wrong, I love high detail black & white a lot, but I can envision some of your works looking really nice in color as well. I'm just starting out learning to do the colors but when I get a bit more practice I wouldn't mind talking a run at coloring one of yours. Let me know if you have any restrictions or requirement beyond all the obvious crediting/linking etc. Keep up the great work!!!

I liked you frazetta recreations. Have you ever recreated some of franklin booths work? His subject matter is different from the genre you typically work with, but it would be interesting to see your take on his work.
