Charge Port on the Wacom Companion Finally Crapped
I've already written up two journals earlier about this damned thing, and now that it's all come full circle, I thought it would be appropriate to have another followup.
There it lay, with its back cover torn off, acting as nothing more than a $1,200 paperweight. Without its power jack, it is useless -- its most crucial piece, the first to perish.
It happened while I was in the middle of working on art, of course, with a few good hours in. Then, the screen flickered to black, leaving behind small fragments of a glitched image that faded quickly. I realized that it had died inexplicably, without even warning me that the battery was getting l
Contrarty to all previous expectations, & indeed, contrary to anything I have told anyone who has asked, I now WILL be at this year's Thought Bubble convention.
I won't be on artist's alley (or whatever they are calling it), I'll be in the marquee (not exactly sure what that means, but I guess all will become clear on the day) at a table hosted by my local council (Wakefield Council) to promote a comicbook project they produced recently. A computer game I worked on is out!
It's a Green Lantern game and I drew all of the character poses for it. I'll post a few up as soon as I get the chance. It was quite a different job for me, had to keep everything VERY simple pretty much just solid blocks of colour. I did it all digitally and used Manga Studio.
I need to ask but do you use people to pose for u to draw figure or do you have to Draw them yourself in your head because I have problem with drawing when I draw while I look at a picture of someone it turns out great but when I draw on my own It turns out bad.
All of the life drawing pics I post are from models. I go about once a week and it really helps your knowledge of the human form. When it comes to comic and sketchbook stuff the images will then be mostly from imagination but backed up with everything I've learned from life classes. Also for tricky poses or juts something you get stuck on you can always take a reference shot of yourself or someone else to help you get started.
