open for commissions and job offers ! 20 years old concept artist / illustrator / 2d Artist. Born in France and raised in New Caledonia. Studied Digital Design and Illustration at 3Dsense Media School in 2017-2018 I realised I wanted to be an artist when i was in high school. I always loved to draw but i only thought of it as a hobby. As i was asked to choose an orientation, I thought : "If I need to wake up and go to work everyday, I'd rather do it with a smile. It doesn't matter if I don't earn a lot of money... I just want to be happy." And even though my parents weren't supportive of my projects, I applied for 3Dsense media school and had the most wonderful year of my life. Being able to interact and spend a lot of time with people that share the same passion as you is just something really fullfilling. I've now just graduated and I am searching for a job. And nop there's sadly no jobs for digital artists in New Caledonia except for graphic designer.
Yes I'm trying to find a job in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, USA, UK, France.
I think this course kind of give you the bases of everything that you can then train and complete on your own.
I wouldn't say that you 100% ready for the industry afterwards because there's so much more than just the art.
on the first and second term you have lessons almost everyday. but even when there's no classes almost everyone is in class doing their assignments. 9 i as working around 15 hours a day everyday to meet the deadlines.
I'm currently in New Caledonia (a small French island between Aussie and NZ ).
