Musical Gemini by dvnmyls Musical Gemini by dvnmyls
Second posting in a series of Zodiac signs with a musical theme.

I've decided to take this 2 more steps further and make this interesting by posting background info on each sign.
I use to love studying astrology years ago and still have
a thing for the signs. For me, everything is mutable and
the one thing constant is change. That said, there are
qualities about people that are consistant in strange ways
among the signs, however, my person take on this is: not because someone is born under a sign doesnt mean their personalties are dominated by the negative qualities native to that sign. same thing goes for the positive traits So what i'm saying is each person is still a unique personality by way of the complexities of how those traits are aligned in that persons' life at any given point in their growth.

now, if you aint down with astrology and think it interferes
with your religious upbringing, then allow yourself to be
intertained by the mythological source of each sign

2nd installment: Gemini
Elements incorporated into this piece are Twin drummers
playing in sync.

Zodiacal background:------------------------------------------------

Gemini is the third astrological sign in the Zodiac, originating from the constellation of Gemini. In western astrology, this sign is no longer aligned with the constellation as a result of the precession of the equinoxes. In astrology, Gemini is considered a "masculine", positive (extrovert) sign. It is also considered an air sign, and is one of four mutable signs. Gemini has been closely associated with the planet Mercury and is considered to be ruled by it.

Individuals born when the Sun was in this sign are considered Gemini individuals. Under the tropical zodiac, the Sun is in the sign of Gemini roughly from May 21 to June 21. Under the sidereal zodiac, it is currently there roughly from June 15 to July 15.

Gemini is widely thought to be compatible with same element signs, Aquarius, and Gemini itself. Gemini is also often considered to be good with Leo.

There are many variables that determine compatibility in astrology, such as birth dates, birth months, birth years, position of a sign within the Sun, the Moon, Stars, etc. The signs listed as compatible with Gemini do not reflect an individual profile or individual reading as interpreted within astrology, but rather reflect a general guideline and reference to compatibility as dictated by variables such as Qualities and Elements within the Zodiac.

//Mythology :----------------------------------------------------------

Gemini is associated with the Greek myth of Castor (or Kastor) and Pollux and with the Greco-Roman god Hermes/Mercury. Gemini is sometimes associated with the norse gods Loki, Freyr, and Freyja, the Slavic deity Veles, and Greek god Asklepios/Aesculapius, the goddesses Eris/Discordia, the goddess Hebe, and goddess Ate. Being twins, Gemini can also be associated with the Greek twins Apollo and Artemis.

The astrological symbol for Gemini is the Roman numeral for two, to represent the twins and duality.
