I've grown to like polar bears, after reading my favourate trilogy "His dark materials"
I love the character Iorek.
If you havnt read either
"northern lights (the golden compass),
the subtle knife, or
the amber spyglass"

Really nice...I just moved up to the high arctic in Alaska, to a community which has polar bears wandering into town and should soon be seeing them coming out with their cubs....the photos of a lifetime await!

Wow, when I saw it, I thought, that it's a photo. But it isn't! It's such great picture! W-O-W!
I absolutely ADORE polar bears, and this is a fab picture of them!!! I once tried to read northern lights, but I was too young, and didn't understand most of it, so off it went, back to the library. I might try to read it again now I'm older!
