Well, here it is in luxurious digital color! This thing has preoccupied so much of my free time I'm grateful to have finally finished it, although at the same time, it has been one of the funnest things I've ever done. Big ups to the main man, Kelsey Shannon for invaluable tips to help my metal and flare effects look better than they would have otherwise, I hope I didn't overdo it too much, I tried to restrain myself, but damn I like how the Cylon came out! It's all digital, the Eagle Transporter took the longest to draw and Richard Benjamin as Quark is probably the most obscure character. The Cintiq made coloring this thing ALOT easier than if i'd had to use the ole lasso tool and pen tool in photoshop alone, thank you awesome guys at Wacom!

I hope I included a favorite of yours along with all the rest of the coolest bunch of characters to hit a television screen in an age, enjoy my friends!

Do you ever think about doing a similar poster for the sci-fi films of the 70's?

Except for Star Wars, Andromeda Strain, CEOTTK and Silent Running, I don't know if there were really enough to do a very substantial group......I guess some of the Planet of the Apes movies.... and Superman was the ONLY superhero film.........maybe throw in fantasy films and you could get a few more movies in the mix!

Star Trek the motion picture the king kong remake harryhausen films alien the black hole the witch mountain films moonraker(probably the closet thing to a james bond sci-fi film) ralph bakshi's wizards and the lord of the rings the wiz

Love your work. Would love to see a dedicated Space: 1999 poster. Plenty of stuff to do one on. :) (Smile) I'd even promote it on the 1999 FB pages I admin.

Jeez Louise, I thought this was very good, but then I noticed that you even have Richard Benjamin and the ship from Quark! I didn't think anyone else even remembered that bad, bad show (Is Ficus in here? I'm going to look for him).

I did a seperate Saturday morning one, which i also need to update, Salvage 1 almost made it in.... I LOVE Kolchak, but he just seemed a bit more supernatural than superhero to me!!!! Great suggestions..........
