Well, this is a bit awkward, but hello there... Yes, I haven't posted anything to my dA in around 3 years. Ah well, life happens. Honestly, I haven't been doing a whole lot with Photoshop and design lately. Over the next couple of weeks hopefully I can upload some of the stuff I've done though.
I've had a rough time with a long-distance relationship lately, and I've been giving her all my hours. It looks like I'll have more free time on my hands now though. I'm working on getting a "real" job in the real world, and keep freelance web design as a side job.
I've just re-designed my portfolio and bought my old domain back (which got taken from me...) so hopefully I can get some more clients. I'm just working on coding it and getting it ready at the moment, but you can view it at www.dperolio.com
Besides web designs, I'll do pretty much any graphics service, including Twitter backgrounds/headers, Facebook covers, Twitch overlays, forum ranks, signatures, avatars, etc. Just contact me and we can discuss it.

Long time no post, right?

Hey everyone (or anyone
) long time no see! Things have been pretty hectic the last few months with my sister's wedding and some other things (mainly me not being good at updating things like my dA, Twitter, and Facebook >.>) but I'm going to be revamping my deviantART in a few days and uploading some new web designs and things I've made in the last few months, as soon as I finish coding my portfolio. 
Yeah that's right, I've learned a little bit of HTML(5)/CSS(3) in the last few months as well! It will be a while until I'm advanced enough to code all of my own designs though, I think--- my more complex ones anyway. But we'll see.
I can tell you Javascript/jQuery sure is a lot of fun and has a ton of cool stuff to add to make a design come to life even more. I will certainly have fun with it in the future.
Well, just thought I would post a quick update here to let my deviantART know I haven't forgot about it, just severely neglected it. D: Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to continue coding my portfolio!

Web Designer!

Hey everyone. I figured it's time for an update, since I haven't in a while.
I've not worked on any sigs lately, I've been mainly doing small banner requests and as of this past weekend I've started getting into creating website designs.
I've finished 4 designs as of posting this entry, and I plan to get up to 10 completed within the next 2 weeks. After I get 10 designs or so done, I plan to make a portfolio showcasing my work, so stay tuned. ^^
Anyway, you might be thinking "wow these designs are pretty good for having just started web designs" but you have to take into consideration I've been spending roughly 15-25 hours per design.
I'm very slow and putting a lot of effort into these.Anyway, I appreciate any comments and critiques you guys give to help me become a better designer.
Well, that's about it. Going to start uploading my recent stuff now.

Well, I submitted my entry for this week's Signature of the Week @ Cruel-wow.com forums. I didn't spend a whole lot of time on it, and it really didn't turn out great. It's a bit monotone and overall, after looking back on it, the coloring and lighting isn't great. You can view my entry to the right of this.
I'm impressed with all of the entries for the Sig of the Week and Screenshot of the Week contests. This is the first time we're doing these and yet there are already 10-20 entries for each. Quite the turnout I would say. I just hope participation stays this high in the future contests.
Signature Lab

for their Daily Signature Competition #99. And it ended up winning first place. ^^
Signature Lab seems like an interesting group and I'm going to start submitting a sig or two every day I think to try to make it into their Daily Competition-- it seems like fun!
I really kind of want to make them new award images though, those are kind of ugly in my opinion. >.>
Premium Membership
I bought my deviantART premium membership today. I had to stop at the bank and deposit money first, lol. I pretty much had to get the 12-month package, since it's the best deal! >.<
But yeah, I'm happy, fully premium'd. I've been working on making my profile look better now. If you have any suggestions, feel free to let me know. I've never had premium before and don't really know what I'm doing, haha.
Macroeconomics
So yeah, I just submitted my research paper for Macroeconomics last week and I think it'll turn out okay. We won't be getting them back until the last day of class he said though. -_-' Our next test is coming up this Tuesday, so I'm going to have to cram so I probably won't have much time for sig making starting Sunday until Tuesday. As long as I do good on this test, I think I'll be in the clear.
Well, that's about it, just wanted to let everyone know what's up. I've got to get back to sig making now! XD Take it easy.
