Very impressed.... that model of skull did you use? it is different from the make for Sereno, its more robust...similar to Giganotosaurus or abelisaurid dinosaurs.....I like! :D

It's exactly the same skull, and it's very robust. It seems more robust perhaps because I try to show the animal as in life, and not only a mapped skull. (in my humble opinion, it's a bad tendance in a lot of paleoarts).

You have a lot of reason... many times the artist (I include myself) we attach too much the head reconstruction of the dinosaurs to the skull. This is based on the principle that as much birds as reptiles possess scarce facial musculature and relatively thin skins. To add volume to the facial skin is a quite subjective alternative in most of the cases, the same as the presence of pleats, crests or curunculas.

Merci Aspidel, mais tu as beau parler d'or, l'illustration ne paie pas par chez nous. ça reste un loisir, choix que j'assume (plus ou moins bien) par obligation, finalement mon art est préservé des considérations financières qu'impliquerait le fait d'en faire une activité à plein temps. Mais je n'aurais rien contre, tu penses bien, si c'était possible en francophonie. ;)
D'ailleurs tu serais dégoûté du nombre de demandes foireuses que je reçois ou en gros on te fais comprendre que le simple fait de passer ton dessin GRATOS avec crédit est un honneur pour toi et qu'être payé est de l'ordre du fantasme. Et là je parle de propositions que j'ai eu lors de la publication du papier sur Irritator mangeur de ptéros, pourtant un bon scoop. Tiens-toi bien, les plus gros quotidiens du monde (France, Japon, Angleterre...) ne veulent même pas lâcher 100 euros sur une news de ce genre, ils la voulaient GRATOS!!!! ...je les ai envoyé se faire foutre.
Fais-moi signe quand tu passes un de ces 4 à Paris. Je pourrais m'arranger pour que l'on puisse aller dans les sous-sols du museum. ça vaut le détour dans le genre.
