Giants from Mongolia

Therizinosaurus and Saurolophus mingle in the mongolian morning looking for food while the troodontid Zanabazar cautiously approaches the former, waiting for any small creature that could fall from the soon to be eaten tree.

Despite the studies that hint at the connection between gigantism and feather loss in large dinosaurs, I decided to give a decent feathery covering to Therizinosaurus all along the upper side of its body. Sloth comparisons aside , therizinosaurs strike me as relatively passive, slow moving and perhaps low metabolism creatures by theropod standards and wouldn't have been hindered by protofeathers as much as large and more active theropods.
