Cutting with Trim

Trim has a function to cut two or more intersected objects. On the Trim, the first object to be selected will cut the second object to be selected.

Click Pick Tool klick click the object going to be cut, click Objects > Shaping > Trims menu thus the object will be cut. Or click trim on Property Bar

Cutting with Front Minus Back

Front Minus Back is the object cutting on the upper of the object on the bottom and the object on the bottom will directly disappears. As simple, object on above will be erased by the object on the bottom.

Click Pick Tool klick click the object to be cut, click Object > Shaping > Front Minus Backs menu thus the object will be cut. Or click FMB on Property Bar

Cutting with Back Minus Front

Back Minus Front is the inverse of Front Minus Back, which means it will cut the object on the bottom by the upper object and object on the top will disappears. As simple, the object on the bottom just like be erased by the object on the top.

Click Pick Tool klick select the object going to be cut, click Objects > Shaping > Back Minus Front menu thus the object will be cut. Or click  fbms on Property Bar

Cutting with Simplify

Simplify is an order of object cutting, the object on the top will cut the intersected object on the bottom.

Click Pick Tool klick select the objects, at least three objects to be cut, click Objects > Shaping > Simplify menu thus those objects will be cut. Or click  simpli on Property Bar
