Description
Meanwhile, as the day moves on to noon, where Officer Brian Irons has started his first day as a cop, it is his duty to drive his police car to patrol the neighborhood areas of Raccoon City. So far, so good; there haven't been any crimes yet. For now, Officer Irons decides to patrol the area called Little Ireland Town, which is located somewhere in Raccoon City. It heavily resembles its rich European architectural buildings from Ireland, making Raccoon City citizens feel that they're in Ireland, especially for those who have a proud Irish heritage.
When Irons knows that his friend, Connor O'Banion, who was born and originated from Chicago in 1940, but whose family had problems in the cold past with the Chicago Outfit, known as the Capone Mafia Family, when Connor is an Irish gangster from the underworld of crime, where his mafia family, the O'Banions, had lost a turf war to the Capone Mafia Family, which lasted from 1924-1930, when the last infamous event called the "St. Valentine's Day Massacre" in 1929 was a final weakening point for the O'Banions, which the following year in 1930, a six-year mob war, also known as the "Beer Wars," this conflict had subsided when the Chicago Outfit had won this fierce war against the O'Banions, who had no choice but to relocate to Raccoon City, Missouri.
But only a few of the O'Banions stood in Chicago, like Connor, for two decades until 1968. Connor O'Banion, who is in his 30s, receives a phone call from his family to come live with them in Little Ireland Town in Raccoon City, where they own a bar called "Lucky O'Banions." Since that bar is a front for a criminal organization where corruption meets to lure people into the criminal underworld... where Officer Irons is a perfect candidate to become a corrupt cop for the O'Banion Mafia Family.
Officer Irons enters Little Ireland Town, where there are pedestrians walking back and forth, with cars driving by. As he parks his police car in the lot behind Murphy's Restaurant, before turning off the engine, he contacts the Raccoon City Police Department through the handheld radio in his police car, saying...
Brian Irons: Base, this is Irons. I'm taking a break in the lot behind Murphy's Restaurant in Little Ireland Town. Over.
Dispatch Radio: Copy that, Irons. Enjoy your lunch. Over.
Brian Irons' Thoughts: “Base thinks I'm just grabbing a piece of hamburger. Little do they know, this is where the real work begins. The work that isn't in the manual, the work that keeps me... satisfied.”
Then Irons opens the glove compartment and pulls out a small, leather-bound notebook. He flips through the first page and begins to fill it with a cryptic note and the date, "September 1st, 1970." After he finishes writing his first note, he begins speaking through his mind...
Brian Irons' Thoughts: “Name, date, place. one trophy, a memory of a job well done. And today? Today might just be the start of something new. Something... exciting. I'm going to meet my old friend, Connor, who's expecting me at his Irish pub called Lucky O'Banions; it suits an Irish pub very well, where there's nothing but Irish gangsters, who were from Chicago, while the new ones or should I say the youngsters, who are born in Raccoon City looking for a job, but that's where I come in to grab that opportunity and get that job to make extra money on the side, while still being a cop and getting paid from the Raccoon City Police Department. I mean, who doesn't want to make a little extra money? When you're getting paid a low salary as a cop versus being a gangster or loan shark who takes people's money from shop owners and small business owners, you can keep it for yourself and buy whatever the hell you want with it. So I'm expecting a paycheck, and that's called a bribe to turn a blind eye.”
After Irons finished speaking in his mind, he then turned off the engine, put his leather-bound notebook back into the glove compartment, and exited his police car, where he would now enter the criminal underworld where corruption meets in Lucky O'Banion's Pub...
