Well, a couple seasons really; Spring and Summer.
The new job has taken me to the orient!
Other new things since the last entry:
1. A new child, a boy this time, and another boy progressing well in pre-release.
2. Recording more audio stuff, you can see it at my other blog.
3. Wrote a full length novel (Currently in editing).
4. Bought a house (currently rented out).
5. Sold the motorcycle and the car before coming out here to Japan.
6. Development (if you can call it that) of the Best Videogame Ever continues apace.
  • Listening to: The Bullet Train Whizzing By My Apartment
  • Reading: Voyage to Alpha Centauri
  • Watching: Extra Creditz
  • Playing: Kerbal Space Program
  • Eating: tiny broiled fish
  • Drinking: miso soup
Well, time to update my journal. Let's see, last entry was a bit over a year ago. Since then I've:
1. Got two little girls now! Three if you count my wife.
2. Finished memorizing "The Ballad of the White Horse" By G. K. Chesterton.
3. Been hired for a new job up in the Seattle area.
4. Continue work on designing "The Best Computer Game of All Time". It's going to be great folks.
5. Received a clean bill of health from the doctor... after he poked me all over, shot me with his robotic x-ray eye, and sucked out some blood.
6. Recorded an amateur audio book, available for free!…
7. Discovered, defeated by, conquered, and enjoyed SpaceChem. Seriously, look it up.
8. Gotten in better shape, lifting weights and stuff.

Really looking forward to the new job, but it's scary too. My wife and I have both lived in our hometown since we were born (except going to school), so moving is a big step for us. Saying goodbye to friends and family. Learning a new language. Finding a place to live. Perhaps it will inspire new and better artwork! Who knows?

Hey all!  CG stuff is still going up over at Peripheral Arbor… .

Also, I've started a commission page.…
The idea is, I like making 3d models from concept art.  Maybe there are people out there who have concept art, and want 3d models?  Maybe those people have money as well?  Perhaps an exchange is in order!

Anyhow, check out my work.  If you'd like a 3D model or scene made, let's talk.  I'll get a few more of my recent models up on the site soon... promise!
  • Reading: The Bible
  • Eating: Cream of wheat/oatmeal and honey
Most of my more recent work has gone up on  Check it out if you are intersted.
  • Reading: A Random Walk Down Wallstreet
  • Eating: walnuts

I've beem working on this SKFEB project rather consistently for a few weeks now.  I'm rather impressed at the progress, but there are a few issues (like a plot) which are evading me at the moment.  For now I'm still working on modeling and texturing the characters and scenes.  Enjoy!
Well, my new computer arrived yesterday, along with a copy of Carrara 3.  Soon I am restarting my artistic/design endeavors.  Thank you all for the encouragement.  We'll see what comes of it.
Just when I think I may want to get back into 3d art, I get a commnet from BrainCode and look at some of his work.  Man!  I'm just not cut out to be an artist I guess.  I'm not sure why I try...
I am not a good artist.  I wish I were, but then I would have to be crazy and right-brain dominant, so maybe being a second rate artist isn't so bad after all.

Untill furthur notice, I am laying aside my 3d art in favor of persuits which match my strengths better.  I salute all of you who make the beautiful art that helped me to realize my inferiority.  Your work still inspires me.
