Pandoraverse Month Of Love Contest: confession

It was late, and Twilight Sparkle had recently been awoken by her daughter.

"Mind telling me why you decided to visit, especially at this hour?" The older mare's voice was full of sleep, but the mild annoyance was clearly heard. Pandora's ears lowered slightly in guilt. Could this have waited until morning..?

"Well- ah. I just. Wanted to talk." Twilight glanced at her daughter. "About?"

"Being a mother." "Oh." Pandora's paws made no noise compared to the clicking of Twilights hooves as the two began to walk down the castle hall, "What about being a mother." "How did you...manage?" "Manage what?" "..manage." "Pandora," The clicking of hooves stopped, "Say what you're going to say or I am going back to bed." Pandora stopped walking as well, though slightly ahead of her mother. Her tail swished slightly and the two were cast in silence.

Twilight spoke up. "Pandora..?"

A shaky breath could be heard. "H-how...were you scared?" Twilight Sparkle's ears pulled back slightly. "No, Pandora, why would I be scared?" "I-i...I just," It was clear Pandora was very upset at this point, and Twilight moved to stand beside her daughter. "So s-scared mom. Of being a mother, of screwing it a-all up. I mean!" Pandora laughed slightly, tears forming in her eyes as she glanced at herself, "Look at me! I-i cause enough t-trouble on my own, how a-am I going to care for a child If I am one myself?" "Pandora!" Twilight shouted and the draconequus reared back slightly, "Stop saying such things, you aren't a child!" "But aren't I?" "No! Pandora, you are amazing. You are cunning, brilliant, and so so smart!" Pandora gasped slightly at the praise, tears now flowing freely down her face. "I love you so much Pandora, and I couldn't be prouder of who you've grown into. You are going to be a amazing mother." Twilight reached up and wrapped her hooves around her daughters lengthy neck, burying her head into her fur. Pandora wrapped herself around her mother, tears still in her eyes and spoke very softly,

"I love you too, mom."

so this is for Lopoddity 's contest, and the theme is love! now..ik the picture is sad so i tried to show what i wanted to convey a little more through the story? im not the best at writing, but i hope the drawing and story can work well together!
