Super Mario 1

This is a fan comic cover I put together featuring the 1983 Nintendo arcade game Mario Bros.

I don't recall seeing an actual Mario comic book since, what, 1991? So I thought it would be fun to make my own covers as if there was a new comic series. Each cover in my new fan art series will feature a different game. (This is sort of along the lines of my Chrono Trigger comic cover series from a few years ago...but better.)

I'm trying to base the cover designs on the classic Marvel covers from the 1970s and '80s. Anyway, like I said above, this one's based on the arcade game Mario Bros. The plumbers are finding critters in the pipes. Little do they know, they have many crazy adventures to come! I hope you'll join me for the ride.
