I have to shout this out...

Journal Entry: Sat Apr 4, 2009, 3:16 PM
I think I may have stumbled upon the best perspective tutorial I've ever seen on dA, or anywhere...

Perspective + Composition Pt.1 by fox-orian

Not only does it clearly explain 1-, 2- and 3-point perspective and go into practical applications, but it also gets into the nitty gritty of actually approaching perspective drawing on paper and in Photoshop. I know I plan to put it into practice. Check it out!

I'm not a fan of kiribans but I figure it's only right to celebrate my long-forthcoming 100k mark. Whoever catches the 100,000th page view with a screencap will get a fully-rendered image of the character of your choice.

Good tutorial, my favorite book on the subject is called "Vanishing Point" put out by Impact. Good stuff.

I'll have to look that book up. I have "Perspective for Comic Book Artists" by David Chelsea but it's kind of heavy handed.

Awesome! Always like tips on perspective (since it's the only technique I ever truly mastered in art classes!).

Wasn't hard, really...it was on the popular section of the front page! :D But I know some folks don't go there (and with good reason) but every now and then I feel it's worth a look. I'm certainly glad I looked today.
