Please see [link] for details and download.

If you wish to feature this icon set or add it to any groups, please use Creative Sense 2 instead. Thanks!

--- OLD INFORMATION FOLLOWS ---

Creative Sense: Replacement icons for the Adobe Creative Suite icons.

Rather than describe everything I wanted to say here in this small amount of text, a full writeup is available at [link]

The download includes icons for both Mac OS X and Windows.

Icons are available for those illustrated: Acrobat, Flash, Bridge, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop and InDesign.

Mac OS X icons are provided in CandyBar's iContainer format as well as separate ICNS files with copyable thumbnails. Windows icons are provided as ICOs.

Mac OS X icons include sizes at 512, 256, 128, 32 and 16 pixels. Windows icons include 256, 48, 32 and 16 pixels. In both cases, the 16 pixel icons were hand tweaked to crisp perfection, as were many of the other sizes.

Enjoy!

SWFDecompiler is an amazing App. It does what its name says: It "(de)compiles" complied Flash files from SWF into there original RAW FLA format. Giving you the ability to extract images, audio, and video in their original formats (PNG, TIFF, MP3, MOV, AVI, ect...).

Anyway -- enough selling you on the App. This is a color and highlight mod I did of this ([link]) icon set, by renowned icon maker ~dthought. If he doesn't mind me posting the ICNS mod I made... I just might, but I wouldn't bank on it if I was you.

I'm assuming you've read my writeup on why I designed those icons; each icon should convey some meaning behind the application it's representing.

A SWF decompiler application has different needs to describe it than just recolouring an existing icon that represents Flash. How does that demonstrate the "decompiling" aspect? At the very least, the silhouette needs to be different.

In the same vein, I wouldn't recolour InDesign to represent InCopy, or Dreamweaver to represent Contribute. They're different applications. Similar elements could be considered (e.g. the </> HTML symbol I used for both Dreamweaver and Fireworks), but the fundamental icon should be relevant to its application. The verb "decompile" has some interesting visual connotations that could have been explored.

So no, unless the icon had some meaningful edit to it beyond recolouring. I hope you understand my reasoning :)

Fair enough. You think the work is too simple? If anything I'd have said that, at least at smaller sizes, it's perhaps a tad too complex.

I'm working on a new update to the series, with the remaining four apps (Soundbooth, After Effects, Premiere and Fireworks), with much-tweaked art.

Okay, I hope to see him to see qeu I think, because I think this poor little originality and intuitive for those not familiar Adobe tools.

Doubtful from my perspective; just doing the current set of actual "creative" apps is keeping me off the streets ;) Can't say I'm much a fan of Flash any more, to be honest.
