I honestly don't care if some of the old Pokemon aren't in the new game. In fact, 400 is quite a lot and more than I expected. If you dedicated each day of the year to one of the returning Pokemon you wouldn't have enough days. Then there are a ton of new ones on top of that. I liked Pokemon Black and White because you go through the entire game seeing only new Pokemon and none of the old ones. I also don't care about the graphics. I wouldn't care if the whole game looked like a 3DS game, I quite enjoyed the 3DS games.
Perhaps if people stopped complaining about these trivial matters they could focus on the bigger problems.

Because there are so many things to cover that I couldn't remember them all in my last journal.
DeviantART Eclipse is not responsive
In simple terms, it doesn't properly fit all screen sizes. They use user agent testing to choose which version of the site to show meaning that some people will see a version of the site that does not fit their device and on desktop computers and laptops you can't see the website properly if the browser window is not maximized.

I like Eclipse, the design and concepts are nice but the execution is terrible. I know a ton of people complain because of differences between Eclipse and the current version of DeviantART, but I'm not bothered by that, my only issue is with the implementation of Eclipse rather than its feature set. Eclipse is far too unfinished to be released to the public, it needs to be left in beta testing until all major bugs have been fixed.
This is a message to the DeviantART staff from an experienced web developer. A lot of the problems with Eclipse could easily be prevented if they had built the site with accessibility and usability in mind.
So I wrote a positive journal about Eclipse a few months ago because it was getting a lot of unwarranted hate. I'm not joining the hate but after having tried it for quite a while I do have some negative feedback to provide. I'll just get to the main point: It feels very unfinished.
I'm surprised that they're making this the default for half the people signing who are signing up given how incomplete it is. I can see they've been doing AB testing, half the people who are not logged in see Eclipse by default and the other half see the previous design.
I'll start off with the positive features, some of which I mentioned in my previous journal:
It's been quite a while since I added new art here. The main reason is that I haven't been really inspired, I don't have ideas that motivate me to draw. The other reason why I haven't been drawing is that I don't have enough time. I spend most of the day at work and then when I'm home I'm either too tired to make art for this account or I'm doing other things like playing videogames, watching videos or working on other projects.
I can't tell when I'll upload again, it could be next week or it could be two months. One thing is sure, I'm still visiting here every day.
