Hello
I am always impressed by your realizations. Very big art
Always work you on the imperial cruiser 3d?
I need you to realize it in model kit.
You must be very busy.
I follow your activity here and on sfxb.uk

Sorry for my english language, i came from Paris.

Your model of x to spray-paint(bulge out) (bomber xanta in France) is wonderful.
I had never seen such a representation, all the details are present, camouflage.
I am also amazed by your others realization of the series,
Fascinated by Bomber x, I made realize by a model maker l (you can visit his( it www.laurentperini.com site/
One go pass from the 2d to the 3d.
I specify at once that the images of dsheratt74 are more faithful by choice of colors.

Yes I've seen your model, it was one of my inspirations for creating it in 3D.

I'm looking into the possibility of having this produced as an actual kit so fans the world over can enjoy owning a replica of it like yourself.

Glad you're enjoying the ships. :D

wow, that must have taken along time to do, but the result is amazing. Well done

Thanks for your kind words, I'm glad you like it. :D

It was done over several months, but all told nearly 2 weeks worth of work went into building the model and another in doing all the texture mapping. There was also a couple of weeks worth of research as well.

This was a real labour of love. :D

Wow. Thanks for giving me back a bit of my childhood. Thanks to Star Fleet, the X-Bomber was, for a long time, my ideal starship! You've brought it wonderfully to life here!

Did you base the colour scheme on the series or was that your own?

You're quite welcome. I'm glad you like it. Make sure you check out the other Star Fleet stuff I've done. :D

The colour scheme is taken from the large 7ft long hero ship from the series, with a few extras of my own to make it look a little more battle worn with a bit more wear and tear and armour plating patching.

It was an excellent job in the planet render and it is great to see this one as well since it shows every part of the detail and texture work you have put in it

Thank you very much, I'm glad you like it. :D

This was my intent behind this image. I wanted to let folks see every bit of detail I put into it from the pipe work to the raised panels. Most of it is lost when placed in a lit scene.

Interestingly all of it is physical geometry, there are no bump or displacement maps on the model at all and all the panel lines are modelled as well.

Well why not, that's exactly what I was doing every half hour when doing the test renders.

Heck I'm still doing it while working on the other ships from this great series.

Glad you like it. :)

What can I say but this is the best thing you have ever done! Its the business - now I expect to see this skill on your own works - like the Oberon?

This would do the team proud!!

Oh yeah, and I did tell you I wasn't skimping on the details. ;p

Lol. Well I'm glad you like it. But do I really have to go back and redo the Oberon? I mean if I do that where does it end? The Oracle, the Titania, the Hemera?

I must admit I am tempted to redo it though, the stuff I've learnt here could be implemented on the Oberon but I'd probably have to redo the entire thing from scratch as it was originally designed for digital printing. It model just doesn't have the size to add the level of details I've added here.

Which team are you on about though? Vas and co or Dr Benn and the gang?

Dr Benn and the possé!!

A true brigand of heroes they were.

Hey why not - plan to redo a few of my pics too...
