The Majnoon is one of the Outworlds largest battle tanks. While not as large as the AFE's Broadside or Excalibur Heavy Tanks it dwarfs the OWR Wraith and Centurion tanks. Its armour exceeds that of main line AFE battle tanks such as the Panzer X and Stug X but yet again falls short when compared to AFE heavy tanks. However it manages to maintain a significant advantage in speed over the heavier AFE units.
It mounts two machine guns for anti-infantry protection in addition to its primary weapon a plasma cannon capable of firing directed energy bolts at speeds in excess of 3000 kilometres per second over long ranges. Additionally the Plasma cannon emits a wide spectrum EMP when fired. This has a negative impact against any target hit but not destroyed by the weapon as well as units close to the projectile's trajectory. Outworld commanders are well aware of this and will ensure the Echo stealth tank is well out of the area of effect of the EMP whenever possible as it can overload and disable their stealth technology.
Additionally AFE military intelligence has been unable to determine where and how the Outworlds, who has technology has always been many years behind, managed to develop a directed energy weapon of such power. The capture of an intact and operational Majnoon is a high priority for AFE military so as to allow their scientists to examine the technology behind the weapon. However to date no functional units have been captured as any crippling damage to the tank invariably causes the primary weapon to overload destroying its functionality completely. It is unknown if this a direct result of damage or a self-destruct safeguard to protect the technology.
The Outworld's BH-256 Banshee is the workhorse of the OWR air force. While not as technologically advanced as the AFE's F-327 it is a solid dependable fighter craft that excels in both intercept and air superiority roles as well as ground support.
Boasting high speed and an impressive loadout the Banshee is capable of going toe to toe with most aircraft employed by the AFE. It is armed with twin chain cannons and 4 internal Air to Air missiles. Three additional hard-points allow it to carry a impressive range of secondary weapons and equipment including Air to Air Missiles, Air to Ground Missiles, Bombs, Torpedoes, external fuel tanks, MLWD Pods and much more (shown with 4 Stingwing Air to Air missiles and a Tombstone Thermobaric bomb).
Personal Design note: The Banshee is a redesign of my old Tigershark aerofighter - www.deviantart.com/dsherratt74… which was done almost 7 years ago to the day.
Utilising the same chassis as well as a lot of the same sub systems as the Tomahawk MLWDS the Slingshot is the AFE's primary Anti-Air unit. Equipped with two high calibre 50mm Rotary Autocannons as well as surface to air missiles. Like all other AFE units, a Machine Gun provides valuable defence against hostile infantry units.
The Slingshot initially appears to be a technological step backwards with it reliance on ballistic weapons to bring down hostile aircraft. However in reality the advancements in counter-measures and guidance spoofing systems employed by aircraft has rendered guided missiles highly ineffective against most targets unless several warheads are launched at once.
The Slingshot overcomes this by using high calibre explosive ammunition coupled with the high rate of fire granted by two Rotary guns the Slingshot can effectively engage aircraft and disable them with ease. The secondary missile weapon system is can be utilised against larger and slower targets or even used to distract pilots fromt the threat posed from the Rotary Cannons.
The Tomahawk is the AFE's primary missile artillery unit. Its low profile makes it hard to detect and hit and its small size often confuses enemies into thinking it is less of a threat than it really is. Armed with three independent elevating 16 tube long range missile launchers on a rotating platform as well as a machine gun for close quarter anti-infantry action in addition to wide-spectrum countermeasures the Tomahawk is a deadly ambush predator capable of raining death from extreme range. However it is ineffective against enemy armour at close range.
While not as heavily armoured as other AFE units its small size and large engine enables it to avoid detection and redeploy quickly if its location is compromised. As such Tomahawk units prefer to engage their enemies from hidden locations at extreme range where the risk of return fire is minimal.
This diminutive size is made possible thanks to the AFE's VI systems which handle most of the operations of the unit with just two crewmen required to operate the Tomahawk. One to drive the vehicle and the second to select targets and fire the three 16 tube missile launchers once the on-board VI has calculated trajectory and compiled a firing solution.

I still have really no idea how 3DS Max works, but I learnt a lot over the last few years. With it which I use to produce models that can be made into psychical miniatures for myself and others. I currently work alongside Steel Warrior Studios producing a range of armoured units and we will be moving into other types of vehicles in the near future.
I recently launched DFA Miniatures to the world through Kickstarter and funded in under 11 hours. DFA will initially be selling 6mm scale scenery geared toward BattleTech fans but it works just as wel with any other 6mm wargame. In the near future we will be producing miniatures as well.
Check out the DFA Miniatures Facebook group for details on all the models I've made and current projects, as well as how to get your hands on miniature versions of them.
DFA has also begun development on our our escalation style tactical wargame set in the late 29th century where human/AI control mechs dominate the battlefield but their numbers are limited so more conventional units such as tanks and infantry make the bulk of each factions forces. Expect to see much information and images from this in the coming months. We're tentatively calling this new game system "Warhounds".
