The “painterly style” has been a highly requested tutorial subject matter due to it’s increasing popularity to digital artists. Not sure what this style is referring to? The style has become even more popular from games that focus heavily on this art style such as Bastion or to digital artists like Purplekecleon, who we Interviewed last year. Red Beet’s climb was slow and the candlelight danced over old and dusty wood. The clacking of hooves and the creaking of the stairs combined to an almost eerie sound and the mare on the steps shuddered as she continued. Finally she reached the end of the stairs leading up to a small corridor with two doors.
First she turned reluctant to the bigger one, took a deep breath and opened the smaller one instead. It led to a small and dark chamber.
Her gaze wandered past the threshold and she caught the scent still lingering of the little foal, she had locked in here.
She remembered why she had done it, no why she claimed she had done it and tears were forming in the corner of her eyes.
Her voice sounded frail, but firm at the same time. She let out a fake cough and wiped her eyes with one hoof. Then she opened an old shutter to let in some sunshine and fresh air.
The pale twilight just revealed a dusty attic, a small equally dusty bed and an old locker beside the bed.
