It's been sometime since I posted a DeviantArt journal entry and I have to be honest, it's because the appearance change on the site and the inability to make my page look as appealing as it used to that has turned me off and made me not visit as much. I seriously do not like the look of the site anymore and it's hard to showcase me art as nice and professionally as I think I used to be able to do.
But, right now, the world is going through something unprecedented with the Covid-19 virus. And as we all isolate ourselves in prevention of spreading the virus, I decided I need to post on here again.

I've been working on a few new projects as well as BLESSED SONS #2 (written by me,

, and art by Ihor Loboda

) and continuing the web-comic, KOWA (written and drawn by me and colors by Ihor Loboda!). I'm hoping both will have new material out this year. Kowa definitely has new pages done, but I want to release a bulk of pages at once this time. I'm sorry for the delay on both of those titles. The colorized version of SENTINELS will hopefully continue soon too. Issue 9 (which is the first chapter of what was Book 2 of the original series) looks AMAZING and has many pages colored and is already completely lettered. It's gonna look beautiful and hopefully be enjoyed by readers.

One of the new projects I mentioned is called QUARANTINE, and is actually an old project that is finally seeing release exclusively through Comixology! The name of the book is timely, but totally coincidence regarding the Covid-19 crisis that is challenging out planet. The first issue is already on Comixology and went live February 26, 2020 and it's about an infectious super-powered disease. Long ago, I had the honor of collaborating on this, my very first comic, with my friend, Barry Lyga. We developed something we truly believed in and tried hard to get a publisher. We even considered the idea of self-publishing (before my SENTINELS days) and had artist Jerry S. Loomis join us and redraw the first four issues of the series that I had done and I inked his pencils. But still, the series never saw publication. That is, until now! Thanks to the wonders of technology and Comixology, we can finally show people what I believe would have been a successful comic. QUARANTINE is the story of an infectious superhero disease and how the world dealt with it. The story focuses on a core group of individuals who have "quarantined" themselves in a hidden building to help stop the spread of the virus as well as help others who get infected. The series takes place in the 80s, but feels timely given the state of the world right now. Check out a three page preview on the Comixology site and give it a read for only .99! Of course, due to the corona virus, my convention appear this year is slimming down great. I already attended one, have another planned (unless it also gets cancelled) and I'm hoping I get accepted to another. So, right now, it's just the following shows (I hope!)
