I'm pleased with this one. I think we've both done some good work on this one.
Gentleman diver by me, octopus lady by *letscommunicate. Fantastic colouring by letscommunicate and hardcore background by me.

I featured your fishy work in this news article! [link] thanks for making awesome art... hopefully this'll get you some exposure for the piece!

Oh hey, thanks very much, yo. I'm glad to be representing the cephalopod-mermaids, yo.

Thanks, yo. I'm glad you like them. :)

you didn't say who did the most important bit... the jellyfish

That was me, yo.

I love how simple and entertaining your drawings are, but they still grab people's attention.

Hehe, like superdoodles.
DrSalt's avatar
Thanks. I have been on a minimalist kick recently.
You only really need very few things to get an image across. For instance, I don't always draw noses because they don't express much emotion, yo.

good solid collab shit

Probably one of my best put together ones I'd say.

Ah... ah desu o_o I'm pretty sure this is cute * nods *

I'd have to agree with you there, yo.

I especially like her hair... and the man-person's wiggly body.
DrSalt's avatar
I was quite impressed with her hair as well. And I like drawing wiggly bodies because it excuses you from proper proportions and such.
brokenaoshi's avatar
This is true, but sometimes when I experiment on that sort of wiggly physic I end up working harder than when I draw proportions normally. It's just a natural thing for me to do.
DrSalt's avatar
I always find that I've developed my style through working around things I can't draw and simplifying it. If you can draw proper proportions it must be hard to go back.
brokenaoshi's avatar
Well, my proportions aren't realistically correct. I can draw pretty much however I want to, but I find it strange that it's harder for me to draw simple"Super-deformed" people rather than generally correctly proportioned people. So it makes me very interested in people who draw in such neat styles, such as yourself, because it's so much more unique than what I can do.
