stunningly gorgeous scene and character, love the light.  I can't wait to see what they do with the Wheel of Time TV series

So is the set your own creation or is it stitched together from existing products?

It's an existing product, but I stuck the bed in there.

This looks amazing. I can already HEAR my computer screaming at the thought of trying this. The textures, lighting and character all look so very realistic, and her skin is gorgeous.

One minor thing, though, the various candles about the room have visible candle flames, but aren't producing light.

Ohhh my gosh, that's so funny. I meant to hide those! I did with one flame and forgot to do it with the rest. *embarrassed laughter* I post edited this a lot though, so I might just crop that out >_>

Thnak you for your comment :D

Having used Daz I know that she would need to add omission/spotlight light sources which would add additional processing time.

Understand, I'm offering artistic feedback to a friend, not a complaint about the image itself. It's gorgeous as is, as I already said.

I'm also quite familiar with the demands of 3d and rendering times. I've been a Poser artist since 2000, and originally cut my teeth on Poser 3. I used Poser before 'Conforming Clothing' was even an idea. We had to pose the figure, then pose the clothes to fit them, because Poser was originally meant to be a simple, rough pose program for artists to make references for their drawings. I still have all the various CDs around still. My original computer could handle Posette and an outfit. If I loaded a second Posette in an outfit, parts of her would disappear! Such exciting times.

I've also been fiddling with DS since before its initial public release, and was an early beta tester for several DAZ products when they released them to PAs and artists they wanted to work with in the future.

That said, there's a few ways to solve the *very* minor nitpick. Photoshop it after, or remove the flames from the candles.

An ambient glow on the flame material, without an emitter for the flame itself coupled with a few well placed halos made in photoshop can convincingly fake candlelight without a huge uptick in render time, or just removing the flame material/making it transparent so it doesn't render and look odd. I've done both, and I've also fought for hours trying to get lighting correct, then

I purposely turned off the flames, but it was my mistake not to hide them :p
