hey droakir, question i know its free to use but can i download them for my comic book and sell them with mine story? i wanna use the template to put my stuff in it of course, not to just sell the templates by themselves. just want to use them for my story with the templates. let me know i really am interested in using these, if not its ok.

also im not going to use all of them just the ones i am interested in.

The templates are released under Creative Commons attribution license. You are welcome to use them in your comic book and sell your comic book. I'd appreciate a shoutout or a link to the templates somewhere (a description, social media post or something) so other folks can find the resource.

You are not allowed to sell the templates on their own (I think that is obvious) as they are free content provided to the comic community for use to create work.

Best of luck to you, and please let me know what you produce! I'd love to see it!

Can these be used in Adobe Photoshop CS5?  If so, can I use your templates to make my own PSD extension file versions of them by opening them in Photoshop and making a new layer above yours that I'll use as a guide when making new PS templates?

You should be able to open the PDF page(s) directly in Photoshop for use. If you'd like to make a derivative set of templates, feel free to make it and post it. Just make sure to link back to the originals in case someone wants the AI, PDF, or PNG versions.

Hi, thank you for replying.  Thank you for giving me your permission, I wanted to ask you first since you did all the hard work of measuring out panel sizes. Measuring isn't my strong suit. ^^;

Okay that's good to know I can open the PDF in Photoshop. When I get to making a derivative set, like you called it, I'll post it.  Just not sure when I'll get to it. At the moment I'm gathering comic panel references like this one.  I'm new to it so I have to learn other comic making things too.

When I do post panels I make I'll certainly link back to your post, its always nice to know what source people have used for inspiration so I get that and like doing it.

Thank you! I've been having difficulties even starting my comic because panels are difficult to make. I wish I could return the favor!
