Based on an unused Games Workshop concept for Skaven in Warhammer 40k with the original design featured in The Gothic and the Eldritch: The Collected Sketches of Jes Goodwin.

Its sculpted from super sculpey, brass tubing (for the ammo cases and the jezail barrel), wire, old earphones and other scraps from my bits box.

Top to toe its around 8 inches and over 12 inches long.

More info on the build process along with extra photos are on my blog www.kirkd.co.uk/blog/index.php…

A wonderful model with a lot of personality. It really captures that distinct 1980's Rogue Trader-Era GW vibe.

Thanks. I based it on a design from that era and grew up on that stuff so glad its giving that vibe.

Thanks for all the comments, he's actually made with Super Sculpey and I don't think the photo give the idea of his scale as its about 6 or 7 inches high (and weighs a hell of a lot).

The original design is from “The Gothic and the Eldritch: The Collected Sketches of Jes Goodwin” and is from a period when they thought about having the Skaven in 40k but dropped the idea. Theres a bit on my website about the build process.
